The name soccer originates in Oxford apparently. And the foot in football supposedly refers to the fact that the game is played on foot, rather than on horseback.

I can't be arsed to find a source, bit the point is: many people call it soccer, let them: it's only a word, you know what they mean, so it works.

I don't eat sweets often. They don't appeal to me much. But ice cream and frozen yogurt are amazing. When I see this smiling, happy, gentleman getting his ice cream destroyed it saddens me greatly. Seriously, that is as if someone came into reddit's house pissed all over the bacon and then butchered a gnarl whale. So sad. Poor little ice cream.

You can't see it in this gif but as he runs to take the penalty he pauses for a second. He missed because he was too nervous. In training he wouldn't have missed the target.
