Try having a hand in at 12:00, realising it's 11:40 and you're only just finishing off your bibliography. There's a queue at the printer of the now busy 24/7 library in which you have been procrastinating since 23:00 the previous night, and you now have the stark realisation that all the fear/panic/work could ultimately have been for nothing. Also, the hand-in desk is a 10 minute walk away/5 minute run.

I made it bang on 12:00. I nearly got hit by a van and almost passed out after returning my books, but I made it.

Used to take a 3d modelling class that was at 830am every friday. Worked a 9 hour shift the day before at a warehouse, every week. Would get home, take a nap, put on coffee, and work in maya from 1130pm to 6am, take a short nap if I was lucky, then go to class which lasted 4 hours. Every week man. Learned the art of the caffeinated power nap.

I've been feeling ill and last night I took nyquil at about 11. I think to myself "that should give me 8 hours to sleep and plenty of time to get up for my 8:45 class... my 8:45 class? OH SHIT! The one the final draft of the 8 page paper is due in!?" Needless to say the tiny cup of liquid I drank just seconds before had sealed me fate for the night. My research paper got assigned a few weeks before the due date. Then, I forgot about it. On the day before the due date, Friend sent me a text message about finishing the paper. I freaked the fuck out, and had to stay up all night writing. Submitted a few minutes before 8 AM. Got an A. Fuck yes. But seriously, I promised myself that I would never do that AGAIN... But I was a stupid freshman student and I was wrong.

Four years later, during the last summer quarter of my 4th year, I procrastinated the book report on "History of a Suicide: My Sister's Unfinished Life" until a few days before the date due. Once again, I panicked. But then, as soon as I started reading that book, I couldn't stop. I finished it in one day, and then finished five-page paper on the next day. Then, I did nothing but sleep all of the weekend. Got a B+ on it. Meh.
