The worst is when they get the bite and the front paw scratch, then do the rear leg jackrabbit kick with their hind paws in the opposite direction. Ow. Still very cute, of course.

The front paw scratch isn't too bad. I'm used to it now.

It's when the back legs start up that the real damage happens. It's like a little dynamo kicks in, and there's this barely audible whirring sound as they tiny, furry little legs start to move.

Totally adorable though, as they tear chunks out of your arm. Bless 'em

Yeah, mine use the front for holding, and combine jack rabbit and bite. But only on my foot. If I replace it with my hand, they start rubbing their head on it. I think the smell of my foot offends them, except I always see them sleeping on my pile of socks that need to be washed...

This happened to me with a de-clawed (front and back) cat. The cat was so vicious that even though he had no nails, my foot was numb after a few minutes of the onslaught.

I have a thick wool sock lying next to the front door for this reason as my cat likes to get pumped up before he goes out, so he'll lie on the floor squirming around and meowing until I come play. And play involves fangs and claws.

My kitten does this with my hand or exposed arm. If I attempt to remove the appendage captured, she will bite and hold. Cats dominate the snuggling encounter.

My cat sleeps my my head like this. I'll be petting her in a half-conscious daze, and she'll take her arms and wrap them around my wrist..then when I pull her closer when she's like that, she'll take her back legs and wrap them around my arm.
