I think it's absolutely fantastic, and is one of the only shows that makes me literally laugh out loud. Maybe it's an age thing? I'm 35 and it pokes fun at a lot of the crappy and often surreal public access shows I watched as a kid.

I agree, I understand the point of taking everything bad, and making it so bad that it's funny, but for me it's teh equivalent of playing a retard in a movie to gain sympathy; it's cheap and easy.

I read that article and it didn't sway me one bit, and in fact seemed more like an apologist trying to justify the style.

That being said however, humour is totally subjective so I can't say it sucks, but I can say it dosen't appeal to me, at all.
