Melissa stared blankly at her boss. “You can not, I repeat, CAN NOT make jokes on the expense of the customer. Mister Dinkwiddles cancelled his contract with us after dealing with you for ten minutes, he claimed that you...” her boss pointed at Melissa to emphasis his point, “...asked if he had any dwarf blood in him! I realize he's short, but you can't make fun of paying customers. You're becoming a liability to the company Melissa, don't make me call you back in here.”

She left dejected without speaking a word. Melissa felt as through her time at the company was nearing an end; but she could fix that. She sat in her cubicle and waited for the next customer, she knew it wouldn't be long.

Charles Emerson exited the cubicle far faster than he had entered it, pale and trembling, he passed her boss's corner office. Melissa followed with tight, controlled steps. Her boss stormed out of the office, she stopped and waited. They faced off like Mongoose and Cobra.

As he opened his mouth to speak, Melissa passed her hand in front of her face, he never got another word out. He stepped backwards and crashed through the plate glass window and fell to the pavement below, impaling himself on an unfortunately located Wall Street Bull. Melissa the shape-shifter returned to her cubicle and awaited her forthcoming promotion.
