Earlier my dog barfed and I had to corral both of them as they were fighting over who got to eat it.

I don't see what the problem is. You don't have to pick up after him that way.

My dog loves his own stomach stew

Is my dog the only dog that doesn't eat her own shit?

[–]Toasty117 -1 points0 points ago

I think this post is talking about barf, not poop. Not a lot of dogs eat poop, but TONS of them eat barf.

Once I pissed behind the shed while doing yard work. Two minutes later I hear this slurping sound. I go back and there's my dog, slurping down my urine. I'm like, " wtf are you doing??". He looks up, "What?"

I had a terrible expirience the other day with my dog. I noticed that she was chewing on something. (Naturally, I go to see what it is because I didn't feed her yet) I found that she was munching away on some cat poop. But it gets worse. The shit is stuck on the roof of her mouth like peanut butter. In utter fright, I washed my hands and brushed her teeth. It was my worse expirience this month.

My dog usually sleeps in a crate we have inside. We have a blanket in there for him, but he will completely shred it to pieces if he doesn't have something appropriate to chew on, so when letting him in from outside we have taught him to go get one of his toys or chews first. Problem is, he doesn't yet realize what is good to bring in with him, and what is not. Usually the worst is something like a rock or a large branch or something like that. A few days ago, I go to let him in and say "Go get a chew!" and he runs out to the yard, spins a couple times, then picks up a massive chunk of shit and starts chewing it like gum. I don't even think spacedicks can revolt me the way an animal chewing shit as if were gum can.

Food goes in... Food comes out. Can't explain that.

[–]KongDispenser 5 points6 points ago

When you get certain dog foods, usually the lower quality ones, the makers try to pack in more proteins and things as fillers, but the dogs digestive system can't break them all down. So as it exits the dog they can still smell the "food" that passed through them with out being broken down, making them think that there is more food.

You know what's funny? I always thought that dogs laid eggs, and I learned something today.
