As said before it is from a commercial, I believe it may have been for Craftsman tools.

To all the comments about reposting:

  1. I am not going to search the entire DB's of Reddit just to see if this is a repost nor the internet for that matter. I apologize for my lack of empathy towards repost haters.

  2. I don't spend half of my existence on the internet looking at every single meme, gif, or image. There are things I haven't seen and things other people haven't seen and if I find it interesting, I like to share it. I have a job and an active social life and a girlfriend. Just because you may have seen it a lot doesn't mean that the other 7 billion people in the world have.

  3. I don't give a shit if you have seen it, if you have, why the hell are you wasting your time whining about it. I am not hating on anyone nor do I have a vendetta against repost comments. Just think before you say something. ಠ_ಠ

Edit: I have seen approximately 4 people reposting repost comments. That's what gets old.

karmadecay.com is useful for finding out if something has been posted on reddit before. Alternatively, search the url of the gif in reddit and it will take you straight to that page (unless you've uploaded the gif to imgur yourself).

I'm fairly sure that if you post an image with the exact same url, instead of reddit making it a new post you automatically get linked to the original post... That's just from memory and if I'm wrong I have no idea where I got that from.

Generally, my rule is that if you found it on the internet, it has most likely been on reddit. We understand that you don't go through every post to see if someone has submitted it before. But if you didn't create it, then expect to see a few negative comments and downvotes. Just ignore them and move on.
