Rules

  1. No screenshots, or pictures with added or superimposed text. This includes image macros, comics, info-graphics and most diagrams. Text (e.g. a URL) serving to credit the original author is exempt.

  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

  5. Submissions must link directly to a specific image file or to an image hosting website with minimal ads. We do not allow blog hosting of images ("blogspam"), but links to albums on image hosting websites are okay. URL shorteners are prohibited.

  • If your submission appears to be filtered but definitely meets the above rules, please send us a message with a link to the comments section of your post (not a direct link to the image). Don't delete it as that just makes the filter hate you!

  • If you come across any rule violations, please report the submission or message the mods and one of us will remove it!

Please also try to come up with original post titles. Submissions that use certain clichés/memes will be automatically tagged with a warning.

[–]ShockWave010 88 points89 points ago

While it seemed like a cool concept when we were kids, still pretty cool today tbh, you better enjoy waking up every day with the sunrise. Not to mention how hot it would get in there in the summer.

[–]dfrehil 20 points21 points ago

I seem to remember the windows having shutters or something.

[–]chuiu 28 points29 points ago

Using electronic devices with screens would be a huge pain also.

[–]Hirschgeweih 2 points3 points ago

This is why I read Reddit comments. To destroy my dearest wishes…

[–]jstaahl 3 points4 points ago

And the sound of rain and hail. It'd be horrible. And winter snow would clog all natural light in the room.

[–]Shadefox 20 points21 points ago

Rain would be freaking sweet to go to bed to. Hail would just scare the fuck outta me.

[–]redbeardo 14 points15 points ago

Here you go Use it wisely.

[–]BlueMunky 1 point2 points ago

I love you. I forgot about this site.

[–]Arbor_Lucidity 2 points3 points ago

I'd have nightmares of a baseball sized chunk coming through and smashing in to my face.

[–]Cravenmorebeer 5 points6 points ago

Came here to say this. The room is designed to literally be an oven in the summer

[–]cumbert_cumbert 22 points23 points ago

If the ceiling was double glazed and there were fans pumping out the hot air between the panes it wouldn't be so bad in summer. I used to sell these air cooled hydroponic lights and the leaves could just about touch the glass without burning.

[–]DrDreampop 20 points21 points ago

The dream is still alive.

[–]miscmantheman 8 points9 points ago

Literally? They designed it with the intention of cooking various animal and/or vegetable products in there?

[–]TokyoXtreme 4 points5 points ago

Yes, exactly. If he meant "designed as an oven" only figuratively, he wouldn't have typed "literally", which is the one word reserve for distinguishing somewhat fantastical statements or phrases as being semantically precise. It confounds me hiwever, why a family cartoon would feature a room intended to roast children alive.

[–]zeppelinfromled 1 point2 points ago

I think literally is acceptable here. It's a thing that gets really hot. It's not like he's using it figuratively to mean a high stress situation or something (that's the best example of how one might use "oven" figuratively on short notice).

[–]miscmantheman 2 points3 points ago

ov·en/ˈəvən/ Noun:

An enclosed compartment, as in a kitchen range, for cooking and heating food.

[–]zeppelinfromled 4 points5 points ago

I disagree. I have an oven in my lab, and it's not for food.

[–]Freakears 1 point2 points ago

Not to mention how cold it would get in winter.

[–]Zay333 3 points4 points ago

No it would actually be pretty warm in winter because the sun would shine trough the windows all day, heating up the room.

[–]laverns 9 points10 points ago

Winter....what sun?

[–]twitch135 15 points16 points ago

Downvote clearly came from someone who has never lived in the UK. You'd be lucky to even see the sun in summer, never mind winter.

[–]tedmisc 3 points4 points ago

Likewise in Seattle, WA, USA

[–]jedadkins 1 point2 points ago

in WV i dont get the sun till may

[–]Chameleonatic 0 points1 point ago

I have a part of our attic connected to my room. I sleep there with windows that don't have shutters so I can confirm this...

[–]coldshadow31 0 points1 point ago

Yeah, SO HOT.

[–]Zloring 0 points1 point ago

The roof of the Texas state senate is all glass. Eventually they had to frost a lot of the windows and put copper plates over them because it became a greenhouse during the hot Texas summers.

[–]Gokkun 0 points1 point ago

And it is unsafe as fuck, at least where I live

[–]ceramicfiver 0 points1 point ago

nah, I seem to remember he slept on the roof in the summer. And he never really hung out in his room, he was always out doing something with friends

[–]digiorknow 111 points112 points ago

Except that one time when Helga was hiding in the closet....

Helga.

Not even once.

[–]TBOIOMATb_CYKA 40 points41 points ago

what if it was olga?

[–]CoupledPerfect 20 points21 points ago

That was her hot sister (the one arnold actually liked).

I haven't seen the show in almost a decade...why do I still remember this?

[–]Panderer 26 points27 points ago

It was Ruth McDoooooougal that Arnold actually liked ;) Sorry for the childhood Arnold crush hehe.

[–]CoupledPerfect 11 points12 points ago

He actually stop liking her when he sees how bratty she is...

But I was wrong he isn't into Olga either... Don't know why I was thinking that. Does anyone remember the episode where he was hanging with Olga but was thinking of helga? That memory just popped in my head...

[–]ChipPhoenix 2 points3 points ago

There was an episode where Helga pretended to be Arnold's French pen pal which you might be thinking of. http://images.wikia.com/heyarnold/images/1/1b/Arnold's_Valentine.jpg

[–]TheOrangeIguana 8 points9 points ago

Don't forget Lila.

[–]helga-pataki 2 points3 points ago

Pfft, Lila, that goody little Miss Perfect. What the heck does he see in her anyway? I mean, sure, she's nice, and funny, and tells those stupid little stories all the time, and she's "OH-SO" charming, but besides all that, what does she got that I haven't got?

[–]gilman3 1 point2 points ago

yup Lila, the only one he really had a shot with. Ruth was just too old and mature in the 5th grade

[–]neileusmaximus 5 points6 points ago

Hi Ruth, hi Ruth, hi Ruth, hi Ruth, hi Ruth, hi Ruth, hi Ruth, hi Ruth, hi Ruth, hi Ruth,

[–]gilman3 1 point2 points ago

haha "oh no, what was my line again!?"

[–]germancurious 8 points9 points ago

Watching Hey Arnold while high in college, I realized that every character/family is supposed to be fulfilling a racial/ethnic stereotype of itself. The Italian neighbor is always screaming, Gerald has a deep R&B voice, Helga's Polish family is kinda dumb, Harold's Jewish mother dotes on him constantly and is frequently shown making phone calls to her friends to brag about how awesome Harold is, etc. Sigh. They just don't make cartoons like they used to.

[–]jappleseed12 1 point2 points ago

Also Helga has a unibrow.

[–]ljgibbs 2 points3 points ago

I'd do her

[–]Pootytang001 21 points22 points ago

Helga had potential. She hadn't blossomed yet, but just look at her sister and really her mom. She had good genes and probably would have turned out pretty attractive, plus her personality, if she refined it, would have given her a lot of character. All that in conjunction with her abnormally high intelligence and strong personal drive would have made an exceptional female.

[–]spotter300 29 points30 points ago

[–]wishediwasagiant 1 point2 points ago

LBD, never fails

[–]VianoTheGreat 7 points8 points ago

Helga was always great. Also relevant, especially today.

[–]helga-pataki 1 point2 points ago

You. I like you. You can stay.

[–]assfull_chaps 14 points15 points ago

Ain't that the fucking truth.

[–]Lvl_6_Squirtle 5 points6 points ago

I must have missed that episode.

And I'm sure as hell glad that I did.

[–]LonelyNixon 5 points6 points ago

I'd hit it.

[–]PeterJerome 0 points1 point ago

Ruth McDougal on the other hand...

[–]stillalone 152 points153 points ago

This is another one of those "I'm to old to hang around reddit anymore" moments.

[–]Anticlimax1471 9 points10 points ago

Holy shit, does this mean I'm young?? I thought Hey Arnold was aaaaaages ago. Or is 29 the exact right age for reddit? Young enough to get the references, but still old enough to judge the teenagers...

[–]flawlesslylogical 7 points8 points ago*

Yeah, I'm 25 pretty much slap bang in the middle of that whole 80's/90's crossover. If you feel old from this, you're just old. Probably too old for Reddit; 'tis a silly place.

[–]scsnse 2 points3 points ago

Considering I'm only 19 and instantly caught the reference, I'd say so.

[–]linearcore 54 points55 points ago

I'm with you. I have absolutely no idea what this is referring to.

[–]norwegianatheist 64 points65 points ago

The bedroom to Arnold from the cartoon "Hey Arnold!"

[–]caracasa 18 points19 points ago

as seen on tv ... or, well, once per week on reddit

[–]JBHUTT09 3 points4 points ago

Really? I haven't seen a Hey Arnold reference since something about Eugene a few weeks ago.

[–]Greyhaven7 7 points8 points ago

That show came on the air in 1996... my freshmen year of HS.

[–]ragnarocknroll 1 point2 points ago

I was almost done with college...

[–]burpinator 1 point2 points ago

Thanks. I had no idea where it was from, either. This cartoon was never shown around these parts.

[–]earthDF 10 points11 points ago

Its ok. Im from the correct time period, and it still took quite a while to click.

[–]helloxcthulhu 7 points8 points ago

Yeah, Hey, Arnold was one of those shows I couldn't get into even though I was the right age group.

[–]aniota 4 points5 points ago

Same for me. Something was terribly depressing about the color pallet/animation style and the characters. The same goes for Doug.

[–]Mistawankaz 4 points5 points ago*

After seeing this re-posted multiple times on reddit for the past few years. It starts to click every time.

[–]joshychrist 3 points4 points ago

Neither do I friend.

[–]DonJunbar 4 points5 points ago*

I knew what this was, but it is from the time period where cartoons went from good, to suck..... and every new generation will say the same about current cartoons vs their childhood.

Mid 80s early 90s cartoons/kid shows flat out destroy mid 90s to mid 2000s.

Examples:

mid 80s to mid 90s (This is a very small example)

  • Duck Tales
  • Ren and Stimpy
  • Voltron
  • He-Man (kinda sucked, but nostalgia and all)
  • You can't do that on television
  • Darkwing Duck
  • Animaniacs
  • GI Joe
  • Tiny Toons

mid 90s to mid 00

  • Hey Arnold
  • All That
  • Spongebob
  • The Amanda Show
  • Zoey 101
  • Rocko's modern life
  • Keenan and Kel

Let's not forget to mention all the badly dubbed anime.

It kinda started downhill in the early 90s with Doug. Nick just kept adding poorly animated shows. It continued with Hey Arnold and Rocko's Modern Life(I know some of you will defend that shit to your death)

The only saving grace was Invader Zim.

[–]atree496 26 points27 points ago

Hey Man, lets not forget about Rugrats, Ah real Monsters, Pokemon, Ed, Edd, and Eddy, Magic School Bus, Samurai Jack, Jonny Bravo, Sonic the Hedgehog Saturday Morning, Megas XLR, and many others.

[–]MuzzyBear 5 points6 points ago

Any love for Beetlejuice, the TV show? I thought it was hilarious

[–]cthulhubert 2 points3 points ago

Oh Lydia. For that entire awkward month where I was, like, so goth, you were my dream babe.

[–]Riotmaker 13 points14 points ago

Why are we still forgetting Dragonball Z. I don't care if it was poorly dubbed.... It was still the greatest show of all time.

[–]Keitsu 4 points5 points ago

Dragonball is actually the only anime where I like the english dub better than japanese. Might be just because I saw it in english first and got used to it. Pretty much every other anime series I watched in japanese.

[–]nellonoma 1 point2 points ago

I've never really liked Dragonball Z, but I absolutely loved Dragonball. Z appeared to be 30 minutes of powering up every episode, whereas the first series had a story, plot, humor, etc...

[–]Hellstruelight 1 point2 points ago

omg im so happy you mentioned johnny bravo. that show was hilarious.

[–]sodawoski 1 point2 points ago

Zoids. The only anime i ever liked.

[–]CubemonkeyNYC 6 points7 points ago

I'm 28 and will sing Rocko's praises until my flesh turns to dust.

[–]DivinusVox 9 points10 points ago

Avatar (2005-2008) is the best program that's ever been on Nickelodeon.

[–]Ampid 1 point2 points ago

That only lasted 3 years? The fuck man, that left a huge imprint on me at that age.

[–]Akakaburito 2 points3 points ago

Don't worry! Now your have Korra!

[–]SomeCapsRage 1 point2 points ago

Bro, Rocket Power was also an awesome show! I miss that show too much..

[–]Hellstruelight 1 point2 points ago

Invader Zim was amazing! I still watch that shit.

[–]nobueno1 4 points5 points ago

Mine was a "I was just to poor to hang around reddit anymore" moments. Didn't have cable growing up.

[–]norwegianatheist 12 points13 points ago

*too

[–]lickthecowhappy 1 point2 points ago

Tell me about it

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

I'm old enough to remember some of the other times it was posted. The consensus was that it would get far too hot in that room and it does get hot in those kind of rooms.

[–]CoupledPerfect 1 point2 points ago

Im almost 30 and I remember this shoe - in usually the one feeling old around here, so thank you for making me feel young again lol

[–]Taubin 12 points13 points ago

I have no fucking clue what this is, anyone help an old guy?

[–]daphinz 18 points19 points ago

Its from the Nickelodeon TV show "Hey Arnold". This is the main character's(Arnold) bedroom at his grandparents apartment in NYC.

[–]GoDawgs34 15 points16 points ago

Wasn't it a boarding house they ran?

[–]Samuel_Gompers 6 points7 points ago

Yes it was. In real life, it probably would have been a modest town house that was sold to be cut up into boarding rooms when the neighborhood went bad.

[–]GreanEcsitSine 8 points9 points ago

Actually it's not set in NYC. It's set in the fictional city of Hillwood, though I'm not exactly sure where Hillwood would be on a map.

[–]th3pack 8 points9 points ago

Oh wow, I never knew that. I just looked up the Wiki article and it says Hillwood was based off of Northern cities such as Portland, Seatle, and NYC.

[–]Reddit_cctx 4 points5 points ago

My childhood.. idk what to think

[–]Kanuck88 6 points7 points ago

It always seemed to be Chicago to me..

[–]daphinz 1 point2 points ago

TIL. I always thought it was NYC.

[–]Oscar_Cokoshka 14 points15 points ago

The room I still dream of having

[–]GrouposDeBates 10 points11 points ago

The remote control. All I wanted was a remote control.

[–]hungryhippo13 6 points7 points ago

The skylight would top the technology. But then again, this takes place in NYC, and there might be taller buildings lurking close by...teenager...skylight...equals awesome stalkers.

[–]dopelists 8 points9 points ago

Actually it was based in the fictional American city of Hillwood which was primarily inspired by Seattle, where the animator grew up. He also borrowed some landmarks from Portland, NYC, Nashville, and Allentown.

[–]Freakears 1 point2 points ago

I remember the Nashville references. Nice for a kid from Nashville who felt like his city was never represented in the media/pop culture.

[–]fiplefip 16 points17 points ago

Arnold is the reason why, on hot days, I sleep with no shirt on. I was all "that's okay to do?" and have been ever since. [M btw]

[–]tarants 15 points16 points ago

On hot days? Ditch that shit for good, and truly get in touch with your sheets. You won't regret it. Seriously, sleeping with clothes on is bunk.

[–]cumbert_cumbert 6 points7 points ago

I so rarely wear a shirt that my sobriquet in my local town, in keeping with the Australian tradition of naming things exactly what they are, is 'no shirt man'.

[–]Fake-Empire 4 points5 points ago

I have always slept shirtless and wasn't aware people slept with their shirts on. I get way too overheated if I sleep with a shirt/pj bottoms on.

[–]gavinhudson1 13 points14 points ago

I'd say the dream of a water cooler in my bedroom was never really part of childhood.

[–]clonekiller 16 points17 points ago

But it was a fish tank!

[–]gavinhudson1 1 point2 points ago

Oh, well in that case rock on. I still dream of having a fish tank.

[–]Allaphon 31 points32 points ago

oh hey, some cocksucker that only reposts reposted this again

[–]negative_discourse 6 points7 points ago

I am always torn between this and Tinos room in The Weekenders.

[–]dayby_day 4 points5 points ago

"Hey Football Head!"

[–]ST0OP_KID 4 points5 points ago

HEY, I RECOGNIZE THAT ROOM!

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points ago

Your time has come..

[–]frezor 4 points5 points ago

We? Remember that not everyone on the internet is the same age as you.

[–]JustForCancer 2 points3 points ago

Except the underground bedroom in Gleaming the Cube.

[–]3DPipes 2 points3 points ago

[–]FolkHop 2 points3 points ago

http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m19juqDVn61qbt742o1_1280.jpg

looks like you can have the room in real life

[–]ChewyChewdem 1 point2 points ago

This is the only reason I clicked on the comments, I knew someone would post a real life version. Although it doesn't look as warm and cosy

[–]Fyuryus 9 points10 points ago

this belongs in r/nostalgia

[–]danhauk 3 points4 points ago

Your comment makes me feel old.

[–]toiletmouth30 1 point2 points ago

and then get woken up by a potato alarm clock...

[–]refinedbyfire 1 point2 points ago

Given the level of inner city depravity in the rest of the show, Arnolds room was like architectural and interior decor mecca for a kid. I understand the adult conceptions of summertime HVAC issues, and the bird poop issues, but lets face it, I was a kid. All I imagined was looking at the stars at night, and being able to go on the roof for solitude.

Besides, heating problems were featured in episodes constantly. I just overthought this childrens show, didn't I.

[–]Einhander1251 1 point2 points ago

Speak for yourself. I wanted to live in a sewer.

[–]Seiroku 1 point2 points ago

I'm a 90's kid (92, so just barely remember a bit of what's defined as '90s').

I rarely ever watched "Hey Arnold!", and I called this before I even saw which room it was. Nobody can prove this, of course, but it happened.

Aliens.

[–]fiestabooger 1 point2 points ago

as an adult i wonder if it keeps heat in well.

[–]deltabishop 2 points3 points ago

Maybe their double glazed windows?

[–]Datdus 1 point2 points ago

Hey, it's America we are talking about. Plaster walls etc.

[–]joe_archer 1 point2 points ago

Except for the fact that this wasn't even created when I was a child.

[–]jd101506 1 point2 points ago

Childhood? I still want this room.

[–]Ligaco 1 point2 points ago

You have altered my childhood. I will pray you will not alter it any further.

[–]Palhinuk 1 point2 points ago

You know, from a practicality standpoint, that room must suck during the summer months.

[–]killane 1 point2 points ago

Okay, I keep seeing this reposted with pretty much the same description every time. What the hell show is this?

[–]donpianta 1 point2 points ago

The only reason I read through the comments was to find this picture... sadly no one posted it and I had to find it myself. I hope you're all happy.

[–]ReflexMan 5 points6 points ago

The room we all dreamed of reposting to reddit for the eight HUNDRETH time.

[–]smellthyscrote 2 points3 points ago

I think this is the 3rd? Yes, 3rd time I've seen this posted.

[–]danhauk 7 points8 points ago

It's new to me and I enjoyed it!

[–]SubtleMockery 1 point2 points ago

Eugh. God no. I hate being able to see out windows at night.

[–]oerich 1 point2 points ago

I may have been too neurotic an paranoid as a child but I never wanted this room. I always wondered about this: Doug lives in an urban area of a larger city? Hell no I don't want a window like this! There could be drunks and drug addicts climbing over the window staring into my bedroom. I also never have lived in an airconditioned building. Seeing this room instantly makes me sweat. The heat build-up must be immense even with an AC. Also, are my parents going to make me clean the windows? Think of all the bird shit you have to scrape of regularly in order to keep it that way. No, no no.

[–]Gingerbreadmancan 2 points3 points ago

This is hey Arnold not doug. Hey arnold only had grandparents. And I grew up in NYC and yes there are wackos but usually not on top of my buildings roof roaming around drunk.

[–]Senjiroh 1 point2 points ago

Didn't this frontpage about a month ago?

[–]sparticusfinch 0 points1 point ago

truth.

[–]clearintentions 0 points1 point ago

so True

[–]jamsm 0 points1 point ago

But how will I look at my computer screen with all that glare?!

[–]vFordring 0 points1 point ago

Thinking of it now.. that would get colder than shit when it snows.

[–]Nate-XzX 0 points1 point ago

The one thing that got me was why was the TV on the shelf, how would he watch it?

[–]DrMrProfessor 0 points1 point ago

now it just looks like a big magnifying glass for a hangover...yuck!

[–]chonceysaur 0 points1 point ago

Or as adults

[–]criticalnegation 0 points1 point ago

given the number of comments on this show, i feel like it's the next generation's version of doug.

[–]Generic123 1 point2 points ago

I don't think so, I watched both shows growing up.

[–]MrKillface 0 points1 point ago

Think how much light would come in when you were trying to sleep in.

[–]EdWrathChild 0 points1 point ago

This is the very moment when I realize I spend too much time on the internet... I recognize this as a repost from a long ass time ago.

[–]nordpol 0 points1 point ago

i still want this room

[–]ragebomber 0 points1 point ago

True, true.

[–]Thelurkingfapper 0 points1 point ago

There's nothing I want more than a potato powered alarm clock.

[–]Trashcanman33 0 points1 point ago

I always wanted an airplane Bubble window, hell I still want one.

[–]BallroomBallerina 0 points1 point ago

Because it had a skylight and no dresser? I'll pass.

[–]Woodys101 0 points1 point ago

No hammock? I'll pass too!

[–]Qutter 0 points1 point ago

[–]sellers 0 points1 point ago

My Dad had a room like that in his house and I convinced him to let me make it my bedroom. It basically turned into OH MY GOD I CAN BARELY SEE MY TV AND I THINK IM SUFFOCATING ITS SO HOT. I felt cool though, which is the only thing that mattered.

[–]linksdeity 0 points1 point ago

Everything I do in my life is just an attempt to get closer to having that room!

[–]Mikeydoes 0 points1 point ago

I thought you were going to post the picture of the room in Peewee's big adventure.

That room would be way to bright for me. How would you watch TV, sleep or anything during the day!

[–]FoundPie 0 points1 point ago

I knew at first glance of the thumb nail.

[–]fallen55 0 points1 point ago

Worst room if your hungover ever

[–]drbergzoid 0 points1 point ago

everything about this tread is awesome

[–]Richeh 0 points1 point ago

Jesus christ, think of the heating emissions!

Why won't somebody please think of the heating emissions!?

[–]Kythadrin 0 points1 point ago

We did ? Even as a kid I knew glare was a huge problem when gaming.

[–]markild 0 points1 point ago

To the dreamatorium!

[–]srock456 0 points1 point ago

i still want it now

[–]KrazieV 0 points1 point ago

I am ashamed it took me more than 2 seconds to recognize what I was looking at.

[–]Danger-Moose 0 points1 point ago

Reddit makes me feel old sometimes.

[–]ooo_shiny 0 points1 point ago

At least be original with your title when you repost something that gets reposted as often as this.

[–]BulkVanderhuge 0 points1 point ago

Wrong. This is the room that I dreamed of having. Another angle

[–]illDogg 0 points1 point ago

IT WOULD GET HOT!!!!!

[–]burntham77 0 points1 point ago

I too had a bed in my younger days that was too small to share with a woman. Especially the bigger ones.

[–]mcampe1 0 points1 point ago

I that the room from A Clockwork Orange?

[–]PolardOOd 0 points1 point ago

No. Not really.

[–]honky_mcgee 0 points1 point ago

I remember seeing this on my first day of reddit...

[–]Tallkotten 0 points1 point ago

I still dream of that!

[–]VLDT 0 points1 point ago

The windows have fucking shutters, the house probably has good air conditioning.

Christ, reddit.

[–]Robby5566 0 points1 point ago

I don't give a damn about the naysayers, I'm saving up some god damned money and finding a way.

Damn you for making me so nostalgic, it almost got me to tears.

[–]crackofdawn 0 points1 point ago

I guess if by "we all" you mean "all the teens on reddit".

[–]gertnerbot 0 points1 point ago

not my childhood youngin'

[–]ThatGreenSolGirl 0 points1 point ago

Climbing out onto the roof Seeing the stars as you fall asleep Sunrises

Um yes, I fucking want this room. Fuck you Arnold, the rent on that place would be ridiculous.

[–]Fyrus 0 points1 point ago

Hell no. In the summer, that room would heat up incredibly fast, and, in the winter, those windows would offer incredibly poor insulation against the cold

However, the absolute worse part about this room overshadows any musings about temperature.

My TV would have glare on it every fucking day of the year.

[–]dnoate 0 points1 point ago

Nah, I'd rather have this guy's bedroom. You know, the whole shebang.

[–]helga-pataki 0 points1 point ago

A place I have long visited in my dreams... sigh

[–]evilbob2200 0 points1 point ago

I didn't

[–]Auspants 0 points1 point ago

As an adult I'm forced to acknowledge that room would be shit, I NEED DARKNESS TO SLEEP, not radiated light, not stars.... LOVECRAFTIAN DARKNESS.

[–]danuu626 0 points1 point ago

Dexters laboratory was always my dream room...

[–]Edgely 0 points1 point ago

A bed under the stars... that kid got so much unmentioned pussy

[–]Diarrhea_Breath 0 points1 point ago

Why does he have his own water cooler? Fucking baller

[–]sarmatron 0 points1 point ago

Oh wow look at this shitty nostalgia post right here.

[–]yaten_ko 0 points1 point ago

This is great!, completely goes into my "Wait a couple of weeks and then repost for karma!" list.

[–]eawhite 0 points1 point ago

Not from my childhood. I don't even know what this is.

[–]GustavThorsen 0 points1 point ago

Dreamed? When did you stop wanting a room that badass?

[–]freekorgeek 0 points1 point ago

Who cares if someone posts for upvotes. We post for our own reasons and he decided to post something about hey arnold...If you don't want to upvote because you didnt watch hey arnlold or didnt like it or whatever, then fine, but to hate on him for posting the pic in general is retardedulous.

[–]horridpineapple 0 points1 point ago

I'm still saving up for the couch to fold out of my wall

[–]BOMBERS69 0 points1 point ago

That loud-ass thunder would probably scare me shitless since his walls are pretty much glass, just saying
