This happened to my cousins husband. He was in a tank in Iraq about 3 years back and when the tank got hit it caught on fire. The heat fused his clothes to his back. Took several operations to get him right again. Physically that is, mentally he was never the same and they divorced :-(

We don't have enough information that you can fairly judge his cousin. In my non-expert opinion, stress is often a catalyst for a breakup of a relationship that was doomed to begin with.

If his cousin divorced an injured war veteran because he/she wasn't having as much fun in the hospital as he/she was before, that's bad on the cousin. More likely though, the stress caused personality clashes that were already there to become obvious.

Probably better that they divorce after an injury than a divorce after having a baby.

      Did you notice that it was a secondary blast wave that did it? The first wave--a deflagration--pushes the cover about to the height of the man, then the secondary wave--accompanied by the whitish plume--blows his jactet off and sends the cover shooting upward out of sight. I've never seen that before. You can see it better in this video.

        Nope it wouldn't take much to do this. All the gasses that are in the sewer are extremely flammable / explosive.

        MY dad has a similar story to this, when he was a kid in Anaheim. Cept he said it shot the 6 nearest manhole covers off.
