My Life

By day my cat is either soaking up the sun next to every window in summer or napping on the ducted heating vent in winter. By night he runs up and down the house, unable to grip on the tile floors when he takes corners and swiping at you when you walk past the couch.

I got my cat when she was 9 weeks of age. I worked long hours where she would sleep all day and get excited when I came home.
The first week I slept 3 hours a day. It was broken sleep, it seemed it was her mission to crawl into the sheets and bite the shit out of my feet. Also touch her wet nose on mine, making me wake up. The animated gif sums it up pretty well.

This has always been the case for me as well. I was born before the age of PC's and since I was born my mom said I was always nocturnal. Some say its because of the constant stream of information that makes it hard for our brains to shut off and rest, yet as an infant I was this way.

I will however state that in the last yew months I have been working out everyday (p90x2), which has helped me sleep easier than any other method I've tried. I still get to sleep way later than a "normal" person but it is easier and better than the last 30+ years spent being wired kitty!

Nothing will beat the sleep I get between 1st snooze and last snooze...
