There are many reasons to eat meat, if I started listing them I might not stop haha.

The only thing I find unethical about eating meat the way the meat industry works, is the way the animals are treated sometimes. Animals that are bred solely for the purpose of consumption and slaughtered mercilessly, is pretty horrible if you think about it. Why do I continue eating meat? because being a vegetarian won't even stop this process. You're better off supporting places that are more humane to them than simply boycotting meat altogether.

Also eating meat is a cultural thing, almost all the dishes and recipes my family makes includes at least a small chunk of meat. Meat wasn't as plentiful back then so a lot of dishes will only require a small amount of it for flavor/protein. When I eat this food, I'm keeping old traditions alive and you even get a small glimpse of what your great grandparents and ancestors ate like. It's history you can eat.

And while we're on the subject of family, if you stop eating meat then you create a rift between yourself and all other meat eaters. The rift could be ignored and compensated for, but it will always be there. You end up detaching yourself from the majority and no one likes that.

There's always the argument that the animals would eat you, no problem (if they could).

There's the scientific reasons too. We are predators, our eyes are on the front our heads, there are the aforementioned canines, designed specifically for eating meat, and (if you believe in evolution, and I'm sure you do) we evolved from chimpanzees, an animal that goes hunting and requires meat to survive. It's in our blood to eat meat, it's not just the taste, it's like asking why people have sex. It's not just because it feels good. I have a carnal desire to eat meat and when I eat it, I am satisfying a very specific desire that cannot go away by eating tofu.

There are also religious reasons that I won't bother saying because no one really respects religion here.
