Trust me, there are much worse drivers in other parts of the States. The traffic is the worst in LA, but at least people here can drive and are usually keeping a relatively fast pace.

I don't even want to go into the seemingly common practices of motor vehicle operators in other places I've lived.

Mass-Hole checking in, visited California a few weeks ago and must say it really wasn't that terrible, hit some traffic going into the downtown area before the kings/bruins game, but other then that not bad all week. I think I saved up my fingers while there and have been distributing extra since I got home, crappier drivers + weather thats not as nice sucks

It's not about the traffic. If you live in a city, there's going to be traffic. It's about the way people drive, like you should be honored to be cut off by them, or like turn signals are for the weak, or that rain and fog only merit headlight usage if it is the evening or nighttime.

Egh. I've driven in both cities and I think they're pretty similar. All big cities are pretty similar I suppose - after awhile they seem to blend together.

What stood out for me was that LA drivers were similar to those in South America - no rules or courtesy - just a slap and tickle party.

Former LA resident here.

I wholleheartedly disagree with this post. Compared to drivers in NYC and Boston, driver in LA are gloriously courteous.

I think the issue is people in LA spend a lot of time in their cars so more incidents happen overall. However, the concentration of incidents per minute is much lower than in other cites.

TLDR: GIF is wrong and OP is a poorly travelled n00b sux0r phish.
