Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission.

i'd settle for a steam release myself.

A remake or a Steam release would be good. But a sequel... as long as they don't fuck it up that would be even better.

[–]zzorga 2 points3 points ago

I've got bad news. I'm pretty sure EA has the copyright.

[–]Pyromaniac605 2 points3 points ago

Source? AFAIK Relic is owned by THQ. Not that that's any better thanks to the uDraw fucking their shit up.

[–]zzorga 1 point2 points ago

Ah, nevermind. I was operating off of erroneous five year old memories.

i'd settle for a GoG release myself.

Yes, please. Finally, I will have the dream creature I always wanted...

The Bearshareaglepus.

[–]nameisis 4 points5 points ago

Ahhh.. I remember my flying wahle-dragonfly did so much damage :)

Always had that one, too. If it just hadn't been that ugly (;

When this game out, my ... brothers, now-ex-girlfriends BROTHER was working for relic, did a lot of work on the maps, if i recall correctly. I remember hearing him talk about it while they were developing it, thinking "this sounds AMAZING it will be instantly super popular it MUST be."

i was pretty disappointed when I ended up being the only person I knew playing it! I loved me my gorilla-sharks and sperm whales with wasp wings

I blame it on poor marketing. I had no idea this game existed until about 4 years after it's release, along with a lot of other people it seems. Found it pre owned for cheap and absolutely loved it

iirc I heard about it through one of those demo discs from a computer magazine. I ended up liking it and buying it later, but that was the only time I'd ever seen it mentioned somewhere, come to think of it...

I'm actually really, really bad at it. I've been playing it since before it came out officially. And I am terrible. Like, embarassingly bad. But I luuurve it

[–]pentax 1 point2 points ago

Holy shit can someone tell me, do you make lightning conductors? I cant remember if I can remember this game ir not.

[–]TAFK 0 points1 point ago

Yeah, thats a way to make resources.

[–]pentax 0 points1 point ago

Wow, I actually do remember this game.

[–]Vallosota 1 point2 points ago

it was very nice

[–]busfahrer 1 point2 points ago

I bet the guy in charge of creating that box art had the time of his life

[–]ragebitz 0 points1 point ago

i still ow this game but when i was about 10 years old i couldn't get past like the 4th level when the opponent had some sort of bear/ wolf combination.Damn my 10 year old suckiness at this RTS type game.

[–]dakkr 0 points1 point ago

Damn i loved this game. Snapper turtle was so ridiculously good at combining with everything. Also i made dragons (bat + komodo dragon) but they were quite bad :/

I have the disks for this game, and they're all scratched... I find them every so often and try to install it but i only end up crying into my hands because it won't install...

[–]Sareos 1 point2 points ago

Aw I'd give you mine if I could find it. I haven't played it in years, the campaign was frustrating for me as a kid.

[–]Gustomucho 0 points1 point ago*

You can :

fix it.........

or

Get it

[–]jimbobhas 0 points1 point ago

what were peoples thoughts on the campaign? i enjoyed it, probably because i was young and the idea of shooting random animals with a dart gun intrigued me haha

[–]Bholl92 0 points1 point ago

Woooow! I remember getting this as a demo disk in a PC Gamer years and years ago! Never had the full one :/ God I wish I had!

[–]CodyLHowe 0 points1 point ago

I played the shit out of this game. Such a unique concept!
