Lesson to be learned: Dress nicely at protests in fedoras and suits, be taken seriously and get your booze legalized. Dress like a homeless guy at a protest, pot still not legal.

He's completely right. No matter what your cause, no one will take you seriously if you look homeless. Theoretically, should you be taken seriously no matter how you are dressed? Yes, theoretically. Realistically, not a fucking chance. If you want pot legalized, suit up.

I don't really care either way, I don't even drink and wouldn't smoke even if it was legal, just a personal choice. But based on my experiences around both drinkers and smokers, I'd rather pot be legal than alcohol. I've yet to see an angry violent belligerent pothead, but have seen more than enough angry dangerous drunks.

What I find funny is that they plainly say "We want beer" where "We want weed" wouldn't have as much credibility (unfortunately). You hear people everyday saying that people for legalization just want to get high and that this is a ridiculous demand...
