You should do it! I used to play airsoft/paintball with friends in middle school/highschool. I've been meaning to get back into it because it so much fun. There's oftentimes big events taking place in abandoned or makeshift towns. I've never gone, but it looks like a ton of fun. I've been meaning to get a new battery so I can go again.

I used to be a really avid airsofter, back when I was in middle and highschool.

In fact, I think I still have all my gear at home. It's just hard to find time and places to play when you go to university in the middle of a major city.

This is disputable. Of course it seems rather absurd using "toy" weapons along with real tanks and other equipment instead of shooting on targets with real weapons. On the other side, people who are that into war simulation will do regular firing practise anyway. And by using airsoft guns, they will get an excellent expierience of and training in combat - only to be outclassed by participants of real wars.

I'm sorry I don't have time to upload the image to imgur. When I read that message from Ensemble it almost made me cry. The original AoE game was, I believe, the first ever game that both my brother and myself played multiplayer on. It became our favorite game series and we couldn't wait for the new games to come out. We spent our free time nearly every day playing multiplayer AoE matches. From "castle wars" all the way to the massive RPG-themed matches such as the Lord of the Rings one.

AoE will perhaps always remain my favorite game series of all time; not just because of the game but also because of the hundreds of hours I was able to enjoy it with my younger brother.

It's not "new noobs", what was left of ensemble studios became robot entertainment(Something along those lines). Now microsoft(Who is AoE's copyright/trademark/bullshit/divine rights/whatever holder) has apparently contracted them to make AoE online.

Now that I think about it, it would be much better if it was "new noobs" :(

1.) It requires a second creature in play, otherwise its just a 0/2 for 3. 2.) It requires both it and the second creature remain alive through insta-kill spells. 3.) It only costs 1 less than Cho-Manno, who is tutorable as a rebel and is also a 2/2 instead of a 0/2, despite his legendary status. Cho-Manno also doesn't require another creature in play. 4.) It costs 1 more than Beloved Chaplin who is immune to everything but burn, is a 1/1, is unblockable and doesn't require creatures in play. There's also a legendary flying 2/3 with that effect for only one or two more than this card. 5.) The above cards are all over 7 years old.

Magic is fairly good at removing power creep, most people play "Standard" which is the most recent 2 years worth of cards. This means that they have a way of selling new cards which isn't simply "they are better than the old ones" which creates a more fun playing experience.
