My friend once had a few hours long conversation with someone while we were visiting the boardwalk. After a few hours, my friend started feeling bad because they were making plans and talking about how "they could just pick up some woman on North Street" so he told him he really had no clue who he was talking to. Semi-related/funny/true story:

A few years back, when I had this awesome Motorola (to me, anyway, thing picked up anywhere, and was just solid as hell)., I got a random text from a chick in another county. Apparently, I got a recycled number after signing up with a new provider.

It went something like this:

Her: Hey baby, want some play?

Me: Who the fuck is this?

Her: Don't know like you don't know who it is, baby. :)

Me: Seriously, who the fuck are you, or should I just call you Whore number 1?

Her: Fuck you, too! You're just jealous, because you aren't getting any.

This went back an forth for a bit, and then got cool. She was a smartass, and was taking my jabs pretty good. Apologized, and said it was the most fun she's had on a random wrong text. We went on like this for about three or four hours. Around 1am, she called it a night, said she was going to hit up a few more clubs, and told me sweet dreams (were she not 100+ miles away, I might've actually tried for a meet up). It was pretty fucking funny, and I left it at that.

The next morning, before I head into work, she sent me a "Good morning, sweety" text. It made my day.

TL;DR: The most socially awkward, and feminine wiles-oblivious person you'll ever meet (me), had a kick-ass time with a random text, when it could've been annoying. Not had any more quite like that since.
