Mine's way too nice. A couple of guys broke into our house and he didn't do a thing. Might have had something to do with the burglers finding our stash of schmackos though.

He only gets a bit angry if you try to mess with his snacks. My other dog has a small mouth and can't handle some snacks, so we'll get the doodle to soften it for him and switch. It works out for both because the big one gets 1 and a 1/5th of a treat and the other gets an easier to eat snack. But if he's grooving on it we have some trouble convincing him to switch to the hard one again.

He nipped my finger once while I was giving him leftovers. As soon as I went "ow!" he dropped his food and nuzzled my leg while waving his paw in the air as if to apologise.

He can also sense when I'm in trouble of some sort. I just started doing sit ups again after a while and all my abs went into a cramp. He leaned against me and let me hold him until it passed, licking my hand when it was almost over.

And most recently I was walking him last night and I forgot my inhaler. Usually I don't have any problems but that night I happened to start coughing and wheezing during the walk. He usually pulls very hard but he realised I was having trouble keeping up and he actually slowed down. It's usually like trying to hang onto a locomotive.

Best dog ever.
