Well if we're talking about condoms, I think that's just as much of the guy's responsibility as it is hers so....blaming the woman for not using them is still a dick move.

Never said I was blaming the woman, but it's a responsibility of both parties. There's more than condoms to use too, there's female condoms, insertions, rings, the list goes on and on. If a female is constantly happy about getting her period as a sign she's not pregnant then yeah, she's not taking the right responsibilities and probably shouldn't be having sex.

Rings and most inserts are hormone based. The cup, or diaphragm, and condoms are pretty much the only options for people who can't use hormones. And since the diaphragm isn't very accurate, relatively, and condoms are both party's responsibility, there are, often, cases in which a woman would be excited to get her period every month (my best friend is one of them) without necessarily being an irresponsible "whore."

Yup, My 70 year old grandma was told she was infertile and crazy for even suspecting she wasn't. (hadn't had a period in 20 years). Then she got pregnant.

Well it didn't happen, she was able to get a medical termination. But sometimes you just can't be sure. I had a cousin who's tubes were tied, use a condom with a stranger, who got pregnant because the surgery had reversed itself and condoms have a fail rate.
