I was once laying in bed in my old apartment and felt a tickle on my stomach. I was half asleep, so I didn't think anything of it. About 10 minutes later, I felt the tickle on my neck. I reached up to scratch and felt something there. I flipped the fuck out and jumped out of bed. There, in my sheets, was the hugest fucking cockroach I had ever seen. Completely skeeved out and pissed off, I caught it in a jar and placed the jar at the front desk of the building. The next week, the building got sprayed.

I was visiting my Grandma in Australia when I was 8 or 9, and I remember the very first morning I woke up and there was this ridiculously huge and exotic looking spider walking right by face on the bed. Then that night I encountered my first giant flying cockroach. I still vividly remember shrieking, running to my grandma and burying my face in her green apron while my dad smashed it with a birkenstock.

Kay, true story time. I used to sleep naked nearly every evening; it felt freeing and comfortable. One night I had been asleep for a while when I started to sense that something was tickling my girly bits. Waking up a little, I turned over and tried to keep sleeping. I was collecting wood for the fire here in Australia (yeah it got to 17 degrees C we were cold). I went down to the log pile here and was collecting wood turned over the last log and there was a Redback just looking at me. I freaked out picked up the box with wood in it an ran back to the house. I used to check my entire ceiling in my bedroom for bugs before going to sleep because I was convinced any bug in the room would get in my bed in the middle of the night. A few years ago we had a bed bug incident and every night was torture knowing that they were going to come out. You can't really kill them all off since their eggs lay dormant for months. Had to throw away couches and put a mite/allergenice wrap over my mattress.
