Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports).

"Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

Posting Rules

  • Posts must be directly gaming-related. Thus, "generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission; similarly, reaction GIFs are also not appropriate as submissions.

  • Following Reddiquette is encouraged

  • No "general" URL shorteners (bitly, tinyurl, etc). Single-site URL shorteners (such as youtu.be or fav.me) are allowed.

  • No game or product giveaway of any kind

  • NSFW submissions and comments must be labeled

  • Spoilers can be posted using the following formatting:
    [X Kills Y](/spoiler)
    Result: X Kills Y.

  • To mark a spoiler as relevant to a specific game/topic, use the alternate formatting:
    [Player 1 wins](/spoiler "Pong")
    Result:
    Player 1 wins

  • Report posts containing spoilers not using the above method

  • Don't post users' personal information.

Before I played Fallout 3 I had heard about how you could either be super good or super bad. Normally being the person who picks bad characters (because wiping out towns is so much fun) I decided I'd change it up and be a good guy.

It upset me that those guys were being mean to my girlfriend (I thought she was) so I roughed 'em up a bit, not killing them so I wouldn't upset her - after all, I was expecting some physical compensation.

I was shocked to see that in return for my niceness I was friendzoned and later shunned from the Vault. But, I kept my head level and set out to prove myself as a man so that when I returned she would love me like I loved her.

Years pass out in the wastelands, some people even begin to call me the savior of the wastelands, before I returned home to the vault, to the woman I loved. She greeted me coldly and dismissed me without a second thought. I went into the bathroom and cried, realizing that all my efforts had been for naught. I think it was when I made eye contact with my reflection in the mirror that something snapped.

I grabbed and axe out of my possession and put it between that bitch's eyes and then cut off her ear as souvenir. Ironically, it was a former tunnel snake who tried to help her out - he too finally got what was coming for him along with the rest of the Vault residents.

After the carnage was over, I stood at the entrance, covered in the blood of my once family, friends, and neighbors. I closed my eyes and turned to the open world, a view that I first saw many years ago, slung my ax over my shoulder and began my walk to Little Lamplight to pay my respects to those annoying little punks.
