Though this is has been reposted more than a dozen times, I still think it deserves to be looked at analytically. On the surface we have a fish in a chicken suit smoking a cigarette, but what does this picture truly represent? Why does the fish desire to be a chicken? Was its dream to have legs so strong, that it inspired this fish to do the unthinkable? Its choice to smoke can also be looked at as a desire to fit in. I think what we have here is a fish uncomfortable with its own body, wishing to be just like humans. It chose a host that fits the human as closely as it could given its options. A turkey would just have been too big. It's almost certain this little guy was held isolated from the fish world, and started to question its own existence as a fish. One day, we can hope to learn from the actions of this smoking chicken-fish.
