I withhold sympathy for college grads till I hear what their major was.

I like you.

Nothing like getting out of college and finding almost zero jobs in the area you live. On a side note 'The Transporter' is a kick ass movie.

I tried to add a minor to add another semester but they said I had too many credits already. I'll feel the same way in the winter.

reality hits you hard bro

For me college graduation felt more like being the victim of 'ding-dong ditch'em.'

Wait, you mean I was already IN the 'real world?' I guess I should have spent less time doing asinine bullshit. ...aside from when student loans came due. That sucked.

Yeah you are gonna have to go out there and take a job that is way below your skill level and try to work your way into something good. Your actually going to have to prove yourself because your degree doesn't mean shit because they hand them out like candy now (there's a few exceptions to this statement obviously). So get to it and get off reddit

Clinical or experimental?

[–]CoolRunner[S] 0 points1 point ago

PA is medical

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

Mmhm. Did you research the job market before choosing to do this?

"At Duke, more than 1,000 applied last year for 75 spots."

Less than one tenth of a chance to get into a two-year program isn't my kind of probability. Although if you truly care about this then I'm sure you'd be at the top of such a list. How many places have you applied to? My sister is graduating from grad school this coming summer and has already applied for over one hundred jobs (about 1/4 of which are in different states).

Duke has the most prestigious PA program in the country, most schools have a competitive, yet attainable admission process though. A lot of grad programs are hard to apply outside of academia. I'm hoping to avoid that with this program.
