I am so sad that this was that far down the page. Love this gif.

Stupid honey boo boo child.

[–]LoriStrode 21 points22 points ago

hahahah yeh. There is something seriously wrong with that woman. And I'm worried about wtf go go juice is.

[–]Loushius 7 points8 points ago

I remember watching some video I found on reddit about this before, and her explaining that it's redbull mixed with something else. Sprite I think? Can't remember.

[–]siegewolf 10 points11 points ago

Mountain Dew I believe.

[–]markycapone 1 point2 points ago

Given to a child!

[–]LoriStrode 1 point2 points ago

Yeesh. That can't be good for her. I seriously don't know how her husband puts up with her. Maybe he's to scared to leave ? lol

[–]tytotabuki 1 point2 points ago

Can i get one of those where instead of showing the little girl it shows Godzilla?

[–]Cyrphix 61 points62 points ago

Honey Booboo Child, is that you?

[–]moogle516 19 points20 points ago

I imagine on some secret pedo form people use this gif the same way reddit uses the korean win gif.

[–]Rubber_Shit_Monster 12 points13 points ago

I believe the site your thinking of is 4chan.

[–]moogle516 17 points18 points ago

4chan isn't exactly secret

[–]halloni 13 points14 points ago

What do you mean? 4chan is totally underground and the hip place to be!

[–]strg_alt_octopus 1 point2 points ago

...could you...post this gif...for...for...science?

[–]hepafilter 3 points4 points ago

My daughter started using that term the other day, and after I inquired I learned she learned it from an episode of Toddlers and Tiaras. It's become a running joke.

Incidentally, I think most people realize that the whole purpose of that show is to troll the parents of these kids.

[–]123accounting 10 points11 points ago

paying people to allow them to continue emotionally abusing their children on television so 'people can troll the parents of these kids' sounds pretty fucked up to me

[–]gstatty 246 points247 points ago

Taken out of context, this is hilarious. However, when you realize that this kid is being paraded around and judged and all the other questionable moral and ethical violations this brings up, those damn parents should be ashamed of themselves, they are practically whoring out their children's innocence.

[–]smeenatchu 80 points81 points ago

What pisses me off more, is the parents are obviously living vicariously through these little kids lives. Most of the mothers I see on these shows couldn't ( and never could ) enter any kind of beauty competition, so they take advantage of the fact that most little kids are very cute. When genetics, puberty, etc. kick in, these kids are not prepared for a life that doesn't revolve around their looks, and they're fucked.

[–]quarktheduck 23 points24 points ago

I agree, but every once in a while there is a mom that isn't so bad. There was an episode about one who placed the focus on her daughter just doing her best, didn't dress her like a tiny whore, and they made all the other girls in the pageant cupcakes. Too bad that's the exception.

[–]smeenatchu 2 points3 points ago

And that kind of stuff doesn't bother me in the least. I think a little friendly competition for kids is completely fine. But let's keep it at just that, and let's put some clothes on these children, and they can stop shaking their bottoms like their in the hoochie club at any time.

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 29 points30 points ago

Exactly. They are gonna be obsessed with image and probably end up belemic or anorexic, get to HS and sleep with half the guys to feel pretty.

[–]smeenatchu 53 points54 points ago

Even better is when the mothers defend their actions by saying that their kids want to do this. Oh yeah? Well my kids want to stay up till 3 a.m. and eat candy for dinner every night, but it's my job as their parent to make a good decision for them, as they are obviously not capable.

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 2 points3 points ago

Right, we have the responsibilty to do our best to make our children well balanced members of society

[–]smeenatchu 2 points3 points ago

And our children will have to deal with these peoples children someday in the real world.

I feel sorry for my kids.

[–]fakelife2 104 points105 points ago

They are too dumb to be ashamed.

[–]RichardCupidIV 51 points52 points ago

A lot of the time, they're just living vicariously through their children. Too bad it's warping a lot of them for life.

[–]JakeLV426 47 points48 points ago

This has got to be some form of child abuse. One of the mom's gives her kid 'juice' before shows, which is a mixture of Red Bull, Mountain Dew, etc. to keep her 'peppy'. Sounds like a nice framework for building a stimulant addiction.

[–]pusangani 27 points28 points ago

And we'll all be reaping the benefits when she's performing on the bangbros network a decade from now

[–]TheNr24 4 points5 points ago

That was a doubtful upvote of mine, but you got it nonetheless.

[–]RichardCupidIV 7 points8 points ago

I know, I have friends who watch this show and every time I see it with them, I just hope someone from child protective services is watching.

[–]gstatty 3 points4 points ago

omg, so much creepier, but these child pageants are like a step or two away from this.

[–]G59 2 points3 points ago

Whoa... context?

[–]Jagjamin 1 point2 points ago

IIRC, it's a comedian who does a super-creepy pedo song.

[–]Rhesusmonkeydave 1 point2 points ago

The the pre-show entertainment when they select a new pope

[–]GimpyGeek 2 points3 points ago

Yeah totally agree, these people can be pretty sick, but yeah could be amusing out of context

[–]thugl1fe 1 point2 points ago

warning -- cannot be unseen

[–]gstatty 1 point2 points ago

holy shit, I couldn't even watch that, that is just so many levels of fucked up, what the ever-living hell is wrong with these mentally deficient parents?

[–]catherineruth 1 point2 points ago

Exactly, for example if the kid was at home dancing like this in front of the tv in her every other day clothes and somebody filmed it that video would be funny. But somebody has TAUGHT her THAT dance and put her in THAT "costume"

[–]SkipX 23 points24 points ago

this reminds me of the movie "Little miss Sunshine"

[–]pilvy 9 points10 points ago

[–]pilvy 4 points5 points ago

an that just reminded me of this dude when he was in Friends. Couldn't find a decent gif for it though.

[–]SamuraiSevens 6 points7 points ago

this dude? please tell me you know his name

[–]Nightmathzombie 1 point2 points ago

You mean Gary Oldman? Or were you just being sarcastic?

[–]Fantasysage 2 points3 points ago

Jesus that was a fucking uncomfortable scene.

[–]torchdexto 1 point2 points ago

where is your grandfather right now?

[–]notyourfriendorfoe 28 points29 points ago

I feel like I'm going to get arrested just for watching that.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points ago

Nah, don't worry. Just take a seat right over there...

[–]chlishansen 1 point2 points ago

ASIAN CHRIS HANSEN LATE AGAIN.

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 143 points144 points ago*

I just don't understand how this isn't outlawed. There are probably hundreds of thousands of pederasts getting their jollys off to that show. Not to mention the psychological effects it will have on these young children when they get older. All so some fat slob of a mother can live vicariously through her daughter.

Thanks for the corrections everyone

[–]blueiiiis 43 points44 points ago

If you can stomach it, watch the moms dance in the background. They are only doing it so little pumpkin will know the moves... R-I-g-h-t

[–]404AikNotFound 5 points6 points ago

Dear God I watch one video and magically 1 comment thread becomes 10 times more awesome. The internet does truly get richer with abuse. Also these parents should be shot.

[–]Gracksploitation 2 points3 points ago

For those who don't get it: WUBWUBWUB & GET OFF THE STEPS!!!

[–]onowahoo 58 points59 points ago

Wait, who cares if a pedo is getting off to this? I don't think that should be a reason to outlaw the show. If anything id rather someone with that affliction use this than actual voyeurism, or even worse rape/molestation.

The idea of govt intervening in this is such a slippery slope and I'm surprised to see this as the top comment on Reddit considering the sopa pipa outrage.

Personally, I think market forces should determine whether or not this show is on the air. I personally don't watch this show because I don't find it entertaining after 30 seconds. if people didn't watch this the show would be off the air. But even if a number of people did find it entertaining the market could destroy the show by going after the advertisers. Similar to how anti-gay groups went after Tracy Jordan. He had to comply because of the power they wield.

TLDR: i don't think how people react to a show or how they use it in their own homes should be an argument for banning it

[–]Carinix 23 points24 points ago

The reason to ban it, however, is probably the psychological effects that it has on this kids for being judged by looks at age 7. ಠ_ಠ

[–]Stumblin_McBumblin 3 points4 points ago

"No, no, no. You don't understand. If I find something morally repugnant by my own standards, then it should be made illegal! It doesn't matter that I don't have any evidence to back up that this increases instances of pedophilia or can produce studies indicating psychologicial detriment to the children participants."

People on this site love to rail against the conservative crowd that wants to legislate against ridiculous shit based on their own moral convictions, but are totally cool with this viewpoint above.

[–]FountainsOfChez 23 points24 points ago

petter asses

The word is "pederast", FYI. Now that I've corrected someone's spelling, I feel like I've finally become a full member of reddit.

[–]MoarVespenegas 14 points15 points ago

And is completely the wrong word to use in this situation.

[–]Todomanna 4 points5 points ago

This is correct. Pederasty is specifically of men involving/interested in sex with young boys.

[–]tuoder 8 points9 points ago

Offhand I'd say the First Amendment protects them pretty well. I think it would pass any reasonably applied obscenity test.

I'm not saying it isn't disgusting, it is.

[–]andrewthestudent 0 points1 point ago

Is this even really a First Amendment issue, though?

Child pornography is per se not protected by the First Amendment. The argument against Toddlers and Tiaras being wrong is not that it is borderline child porn, but that it is borderline child abuse.

A better analogy would be to pictures of dead or beaten children. While there is an argument over whether such pictures are obscene, no body would argue that the actions (the killing/beating) that led to the subject matter of the picture is protected speech. Similarly, there is an argument that the actions underlying shows like Toddlers and Tiaras are what is wrong (and maybe unlawful), not the presentation.

(I do realize that OP made the comment invoking Free Speech, not you.)

[–]tuoder 5 points6 points ago

Like I said, it would pass any reasonably applied obscenity test. While it is something like pornography, it's not pornography. It's not produced for the purpose of sexual arousal, even if it is likely to provoke such a reaction among those so inclined.

I'll put it this way: Are childhood photos of kids playing in the bath obscene? How about the pictures of little girls on underwear packages?

Now, if we recontextualized these videos, they may well become child pornography. If they were collected and sold for that purpose, they would be child pornography.

[–]LeConnor 1 point2 points ago

Aren't the laws for CP based off the harm to the child as opposed to the photos/videos use?

[–]tuoder 1 point2 points ago

It's been a while since I've read relevant decisions, but I know they pointed out that the images were obscene, and therefore not subject to First Amendment protection, which is why simulated pictures can be banned, though they harm no identifiable child directly.

They may well also be banned due to their harm.

[–]LeConnor 1 point2 points ago

Seems fair enough

[–]Irongrip 7 points8 points ago

Pedophiles do not like that show. According to an AMA one of them did, they find these disgusting. Makes sense really, they are not attracted to miniature adult-wannabes.

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 2 points3 points ago

LOL. They look for scuffed knees and snotty noses. Out of curiosity how many pedophiles agreed with the OP on that AMA?

[–]CreepyPedophile 5 points6 points ago

That's the word on the street, but what do I know?

[–]johnnybegoode 8 points9 points ago

...petter asses? Do you not know how to spell pederasts, or is this some silly joke?

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 4 points5 points ago

honestly didn't really know it was a word. Sorry I know I need to catch up on my pedophelia plurals.

[–]johnnybegoode 1 point2 points ago

It's all good, I just seriously couldn't tell if it was some new term the hip young folks are doing these days.

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 2 points3 points ago

Lol Im 25, But yes I could always use an expanded and correct vocabulary.

[–]stabologist 1 point2 points ago

What's a... pederast, Walter?

[–]bigmeech 4 points5 points ago

a child dancing outlawed? might as well censor everything!

and fucks like you fought against SOPA

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 24 points25 points ago

A half dressed child dancing for a crowd of adults. This isn't ballet or square dancing, if you can't recognize these children are being sexualized then you have some sort of cognitive impairment.

[–]MyAssDoesHeeHawww 5 points6 points ago

[–]bigmeech 1 point2 points ago

I noticed nothing sexual about this because I don't find children sexually attractive.

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 1 point2 points ago

I don't find children sexually attractive, I dont find the But-her-face waiters at my local hooters sexually attractive either, that doesn't mean they aren't sexualized.

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 16 points17 points ago

I'm not a big fan of the concept of cheerleading either, at least at the middle school/ high school level. But what's worse, blantanly sexualizing a teenager or a toddler/child? Is it worse for a 30 year old man to pleasure himself to a picture of a HS student or a 9yr old? It's not black and white and there is a big grey area here. These children are being exploited, at least a HS student knows what sexuality is.

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]MusicalPie 6 points7 points ago

While mostly correct, I'd say that once they get old enough and actually have things to compare these actions to they'll realize and assume its ok. For example, this 5 year old is doing that booty dance, fast forward a few years and she sees one urban artist doing that with a guy behind her doing that dry hump dance, I don't even know if there's a name for it. The girl will assume that's normal behavior.

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]Jesus8myShrooms 1 point2 points ago

You are right on how the children view it as just dress up, and sexual imagery is a cultural and mostly adult concept. That being said it is still adults exploiting these children, they would still have just as much fun with less revealing clothing. My personal outrage and most peoples outrage isn't manufactured though, I'm sure the same people who object to this would object to the young half dressed cheerleaders too. I'm hoping social evolution will weed this out like many other things that were "acceptable" in society at one point.

[–]dcunited 3 points4 points ago

This is not Toddlers n Tiaras. 5-year-olds cheerleading is unnecessary and stupid. imo.

edit- not that I really give a crap about cheerleading, but some of that stuff they pull is crazy/impressive.

[–]kororon 6 points7 points ago

The difference? The parents make all the decisions in this show. The kids don't have any say in it. They can't even say no.

Cheerleaders in highschool? They make their own decision of joining the cheerleading squad.

[–]markycapone 7 points8 points ago

My personal belief is that it is the sexualization of toddlers, and young women is wrong.

I would say that most of these girls are pressured or pushed into these pageants at the behest of their parents. while cheerleaders and other sports are usually an interest of the childs.

prancing a kid around who is not capable of understanding what she is doing, and being encouraged to dress slutty and dance in front of judges is not quite the same thing as a kid playing a sport (which cheer-leading is considered a sport).

I think maybe there should be an age limit on beauty pageants. like 13 or something, so that the young person at least has an idea of what is going on.

The main purpose of cheerleading (arguably) is not to sexualize the young girl. it is a recognized sport. also atleast in my experience (playing peewee football) the younger cheerleaders usually wore pants, like jogging pants that were the team colors. Pageantry is only about beauty. It would be a different story if they dressed in less revealing clothing, and didn't get forced by their parents to dance like little skanks. But it is clear what these kind of shows are like, (watch the gif again.) It shouldn't be allowed.

Just my opinion.

[–]AlKanzel 5 points6 points ago

Anything that destroys what should be a happy, normal childhood is wrong on the part of the parents, and they should be held accountable. There's a difference between a child genuinely wanting to do something and simply being brainwashed into thinking that's what they want, whether it be forcing them into gymnastics, dance, or stupid bullshit pageants.

These people enrage me, especially when they're turning their children into eyecandy for sexual predators.

[–][deleted] ago

[deleted]

[–]AlKanzel 1 point2 points ago

I think you read the meaning behind "turning their children into eyecandy" wrong. I didn't express that as the sole purpose for the act, just that it happened to be an outcome of it. I don't think any parent would intentionally dress their child up for the sole purpose of attracting sexual predators, but that type of pageantry has that unfortunate result nonetheless.

[–]smeenatchu 1 point2 points ago

When they are dressing these kids up like hookers, and have them doing sexually provocative (gyrating their non-existent hips, shaking their 6 year old bottoms, etc.) dance moves, it's a problem.

[–]zephrin1 5 points6 points ago

now, how can Reddit help get that show off the air..? Who the hell watches that crap.

[–]Everyoneheresamoron 2 points3 points ago

I think a lot of the people hating on the show are projecting their hate on the wrong thing.

The show documents local competitions. Meaning that taking this off the air would help exactly 0% of these kids lead normal lives. Of course I am in no way endorsing the show, but the root of the problem is elsewhere, and will probably never go away.

[–]KhorneFlakeGhost 2 points3 points ago

I'm not going to lie. This is awesome if you listen to Immersion (derp'd it up by reading the album title) Immunize by Pendulum

[–]Avertr 1 point2 points ago

Nice

[–]freezerburn666 6 points7 points ago

you know the worst part? not only does this encourage materialism and shallowness, but the parents force their children to eat sugar packets, pixie sticks and energy drinks before they perform. these kids are going to grow up to be junkies because they think they need their 'happy juice' to do anything.

[–]pshwhatever 2 points3 points ago

I'm sure non-pageant kids eat food that's just as bad

[–]freezerburn666 3 points4 points ago

it's far worse than that, i've unfortunately seen the show a few times and the mother is pouring 3 - 5 packets at a time into the child's mouth, who doesn't even want it, but the mother is holding the child's mouth open with their free hand to dump the sugar packets in, i don't know how they get away with that, or even putting in on tv.

[–]LittleInfidel 1 point2 points ago

I get what you're saying, but this is clearly a quick, repeated clip from an over all dance that it looks like the little girl is having fun doing.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not for /forcing/ children to do pageants, but if it's what they want to do and they're having fun? There's nothing wrong with that. The same as there's nothing wrong with letting your child play the sport they like, but there's something wrong with forcing them to play the sport.

Either way, this isn't really wrong. /You're/ the one making it that way.

[–]TasteThePaste 0 points1 point ago

It made it worse that I was listening to EDM when I saw this.

[–]GeorgeHarrison 0 points1 point ago

I'm really afraid where these reality t.v. shows are going.

[–]KickTheBaby 0 points1 point ago

I'm pretty sure that I'm on some watch list now

[–]swagtrainjules 0 points1 point ago

[–]Mammaltoes24 0 points1 point ago

Dragostea din tei came on pandora as i opened this. hilarity ensued

[–]crazymomma5 0 points1 point ago

This is absolutely horrible. That poor little girl is doing what her momma wants her to, and momma is making her the object of some pedophile's desire. Wrong, wrong, wrong.

[–]SilentSi 0 points1 point ago

This put me into some weird trance where i was like "wtf am i watching, how can parents allow this..."

[–]Frubah 0 points1 point ago

Come on out pedos. We know you're watching.

[–]theobservantdude 0 points1 point ago

I was feeling like a nice guy today, so I decided I would stabilize your boo-boo child.

[–]Teekoo 0 points1 point ago

Here we go..

[–]bigent 0 points1 point ago

its terrible but an awsome gif

[–]stapviggo 0 points1 point ago

My first thought was wondering what you were searching that made you find this gif.

[–]obsoletememe 0 points1 point ago

Did "Push It" by Salt-n-Pepa just pop into anyone else's mind as they saw this? That GIF is so vulgar (IMO)... I'm going to go cry for the children now.

[–]redd1t4l1fe 0 points1 point ago

A dolla make me holla, honey boo boo child!

[–]ellewar 0 points1 point ago

As sad as this is while I watched this I was listening to Surf Wax America by Weezer ... makes it that much better

[–]mage2k 0 points1 point ago

Having just seen that for the first time as I sit here with a good friend mixing tracks in front me, that was hilarious.

[–]Stouff-Pappa 0 points1 point ago

This shit, the shows and such, need to stop...

[–]fatbuckel 0 points1 point ago

These parents should all be arrested. Fucking pedos, every one.

[–]bowlitguap 0 points1 point ago

my guess, she's jamming to rack city

[–]Dacryo 0 points1 point ago

It's amazing how this synced up precisely with my music.

[–]Hyperdrunk 0 points1 point ago

So terrible I felt guilty upvoting it.

[–]Kareeda 0 points1 point ago

Activation of jaw drop achieved. Have a good day.

[–]DanDav20 0 points1 point ago

I would feel like a peadophile if this gave this an upvote.

[–]reallycoolkid 0 points1 point ago

this just makes me sad inside

[–]stonedlikeageologist 0 points1 point ago

I feel like I should be put on some sort of list for watching this.

[–]ballsnack 0 points1 point ago

i watched this gif while a skrillex song was playing...golden moment

[–]Spaghetti2k 0 points1 point ago

What the actual fuck?

[–]violentacrez 0 points1 point ago

[–]aquietmidnightaffair 0 points1 point ago

What the hell did I just watch?!?

[–]thescrapplekid 0 points1 point ago

I haven't snorted while laughing in a while, holy shit

[–]TheEdgemerian 0 points1 point ago

I wish I could find the clip, but does anyone else remember in that movie Man on Fire, when Denzel's pistol misfires while he's trying to kill himself? Later, he tells the little girls father that the bullet wasn't meant for himself, maybe it was mean for him instead.

He leaves him the bullet and the gun. The gun doesn't misfire when Pita's father tries to use it.

I'm thinking this may be a similar situation.

[–]Wakeless_Jake 0 points1 point ago

She is going to make some trailer park famous one day.

[–]meantism 0 points1 point ago

She's going to grow up to be quite the whore

[–]FranciscoGut 0 points1 point ago

This is what I see when I check out girls in nightclubs now.

[–]April_Fabb 0 points1 point ago

Not sure what to think. It's not really funny, nor is it cute. Or is it? I never really understood the point of these shows. But then again, I'm starting to believe that there's something terribly wrong with me. Seriously, I even remember feeling sorry for the animals when visiting zoos as a kid. Hell, maybe I would've loved the zoo if tiny kids, all dressed up in some nazi porntoddler dress by Thierry Mugler, would've danced around like drugged monkeys in heat. Yes, maybe.

[–]WhatIsJeopardy 0 points1 point ago

I came.
