When I was very little, my dad owned a convenience store. I recall on my second or perhaps third birthday he was driving me in his car and he told me there was a surprise waiting for me at home. When I got inside the house there were hundreds of latex balloons with various colors, stripes, dots, and patterns - all from his store. My little heart exploded with joy. My parents split up not long after, and it's been a few years since I've heard from him. It's still the happiest memory I have.
