Beware of trading scammers!

A subreddit for anything related to games (but not sports). "Related" means that posts must contain gaming-related content in the link/post body, not just a "forced" connection via the title or a caption added to the content.

"Generic" image macros/memes (where the character itself is not related to gaming) like Scumbag Steve, Good Guy Greg, etc. will be removed. Something that "reminds you of a game", or "looks like something from a game" is also not an appropriate submission.

http://www.dbocom.com/forum/showthread.php?t=10 go to taiwanese website. click member. make an account. click on dragonball online. the account you just made will then be transfered to the game. then download the taiwanese game through bittorrent. grab the english patch. patch the game with that. load the game up. ??? profit.

I can confirm this works. I followed the directions on the link op provided and it works. For the Taiwanese accounts all you need is an email address. Unlike the Korean version where you needed to commit identity theft from some Korean boy to play the game. The game works and the english patch works fine except it translates very little of the game. The op's image conveys the exact feeling I have right now. The quests wont make sense and a lot of the attacks nor the items in the shops. I just started playing it tonight (only a lvl 3) and I love it except I seriously have no fucking idea whats going on. Trunks was in it though and I'm beating the shit out of squirrels.

I'm not sure what they're doing with this, but I can't see them not releasing it. They must know how much of a revenue stream this would be if opened to the European and North/South American markets. This game might still be in beta (even though that would mean that it's been in beta since 2010), so that would explain why its free to download. I think it's just taking a long time. I can't see them not capitalizing on this great game, this great time to release an mmo rpg, or this renewed dragon ball hype. I think something big will happen upon its multi-national release maybe a new series or something. I can't see them just randomly releasing a game this game of this magnitude in few years when nothing is going on with dragon ball at all.
