As the sibling post said, this is a small community, and I figured this picture should be archived in this reddit because it's relevant. Where did I claim that I took this picture and that it's original content? The real question is whether it's on-topic for this subreddit or not. On reddit you should assume that the poster isn't the original content creator unless they claim to be. It'd be absurd to expect only the original content creators to post things to reddit.

I make crossposts here to improve this subreddit, not to steal credit. I currently have the top two submissions in this subreddit, and no, I don't claim to have taken those pictures either. (Though usually I remember to link to the source in the comments.)

I don't see why you have to be a jerk. I hope you'll be terrorized by a giant kitten rampaging through your home.
