Alas twin, a similar happenstance occurred from my point of view too. They voices started one my seventh birthday, right when I blew out the candles. My wish was for a scooter (which I did end up getting), but the voices started talking to me in a foreign language, though I could hear one word: "Scooter". Eventually I began to understand they language of the voices and I did not like what they said one bit. They used words like "Pwnd" or "Newb". They harassed me everyday by throwing insults at me until I had the guts to stand up to them. One day I during middle school I made the decision to do this and right when I came to this epitome, I uncontrollably started shouting in the language of the voices. The next thing I remembered was being in the school nurses office with my counselor. I told her about the voices and how they harassed me, told me to do unspeakable deeds. She was very understanding and promised that she would help. I wanted her to keep this a secret and she promised. For the next few days I spent all of class in her office discussing the voices. We tried talking to them and slowly we gained knowledge. It became a regular schedule for me to see my counselor once a week after we got a primary basis of knowledge of the voices. Within two months I started learning how to control them, of course complete control wasn't really possible, but I could keep them from being so rude. Flash forward to the date of this post. I was discussing modern architecture with the voices and mentioned the architecture subreddit. When they heard the name Reddit, they started yelling. I forced them to calm down and they urged me to get on and start browsing. I browsed for hours with the only words from the voices being "just keep searching" (this is a very rough translation). At one point I stumbled upon this post and ended up falling for this clever antic with and answer pressed to me by the voices. 43. "43" they said. They kept repeating it until I took control of them again. They told me that I needed to sleep, so I did. When I awoke I found your post, leading me to find out about my long lost twin. Why, twin, do you think the voices brought us together, why did they start talking to us in the first place?
