I always wondered why people don't take of their shoes. Isn't it getting really dirty inside? What if it was raining and you have been walking in mud, do you still wear your shoes? Is there exceptions?

Don't you get "tired" of how you say it? I love the feeling of coming home from work, take of my pants and release my foots from the shoe jail. So satisfying.

I was wondering this for a long time. Do US people actually wear their shoes in the house? I saw it the first time in Sitcoms (but it's understandable that they don't put off their shoes), but then I heard a couple jokes about the japanese and their habit of putting off their shoes in the hallway.

The only time I leave my shoes on in a house is when I see the whole family walking around with shoes on. It's not even a matter of "fitting in". I just don't want to be walking around barefoot where other people have worn shoes. I know where those things have been. It's like walking around the mall barefoot...

In my country everyone takes their shoes of when going in someone home. Once there was a Italian exchange student in the dorm and he would never take his shoes of when entering others apartment. People often said he should take his shoes of, but he always forget somehow. Cultural differences I guess.
