Pro tip: ask the person "what was your name again?". After they say their name, you say "Oh, I meant your last name". You now are reminded of their first name. Immediately moonwalk away.

It's easy to divine someone's name, just say "Excuse me, what was your name again?" and they say something like "Sarah" and then you quickly reply with, "No, Sarah, I meant your last name." Boom, you have first and last name and you can claim you already had half the information.

I just tell them I was too drunk to remember their names. Its the perfect excuse for 2 reasons.

1) It's probably true

2) It lets them know that you're super cool because you drink a lot of alcohol.
