Have you ever tried to piece together a drunken night with your friends 90 years after you died? That's how the gospels were actually written.

Have you ever tried to piece together a drunken night with your friends that may have never actually happened? That's how the gospels were actually written.

Apparently a night where you're so drunk that your blood literally (according to catholics) becomes wine.

Does /r/atheism believe everything it reads without checking the source? There's a good chance that this isn't Jesus tweeting.

The Blood of Christ is one potent alcohol, making things not quite seem how they are, causing you to make bad decisions, lose touch with reality, and act like you don't have a drinking problem.

Difference is your friends were actually there to witness something, the witnesses in the gospels didn't publish their accounts until many many decades after the crucifiction and many speculate weren't even alive during the time Jesus was alive.
