My guess is that in the next 10-15 years, everything will be streamlined, so that you will be able to login to the internet as a specific user, and all of your usernames/logins will be set directly to you so you don't have to keep track of it. There will be an option to post anonymously/not store or share data. Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure in 10-15 years we won't even be using screen names the way we are now. I'm pretty sure in the next decade we're going to manage to open up identity management a little bit. OpenID is still pretty young and has quite a bit of adoption. Relying on globally exclusive information that is consumer-face to identify people was pretty much always ultimately a temporary solution to the identity problem. I mean, when you interact with people do you worry if their name will uniquely identify them amongst all people, or do you just call them by their name but systemically rely on the fact that they have a social security number?
