I knew a man who knew his hangers.

His name was Chris. He worked at the JC Penny on the other side of town. I met him when I was shopping for a sports bra a couple years back.

I was browsing through the sports section when I heard a voice behind me. "You play tennis?" I did, so I said, "Yeah."

Later that week we had a date at one of the public parks in town that had some free tennis courts. We both chuckled when he said "Love-Love." It became our running joke.

After about 7 months of dating, I loved him more than any man I'd ever met. I was at work one day when I got a call. Chris was in the hospital, they said it was an accident.

I rushed down to the hospital as fast as a I could. I don't know how I didn't get a speeding ticket, I was going about 60 in a 35 for most of the drive.

As soon as I got there, I didn't even park in a real parking space, I didn't have time for that. I ran through the front door up to the front desk, found out what room he was in, and rushed over to the stairs.

I ran up 3 flights in about 10 seconds flat, but it felt like an eternity. Then I bolted down the hall, until I found his room. I burst through the door, and the first thing I saw was...one moment, I need to visit the ladies room.
