Seriously, the kerning is sub-par and the flow of text is adiabatic. The italics are also fairly slanted in my professional opinion.

The thing is, people are worried that he won't have enough votes so their vote will have been wasted.

They'd rather vote for one of the 2 top people, so that there's a better chance of their vote making a difference.

This is why the voting system should be changed so that you list your 5 top candidates (or less), and if your 1st isn't one of the top 2, then your vote goes to the 2nd on the list. if HE isn't in the top 2, then 3rd, etc, etc.

He is against separation of church and state and thinks that there is a war on Christmas.

He doesn't think education is a right.

He is a global warming denier.

He is against the UN.

He is for the gold standard.

He tried to legislate against gay marriage on a federal level and attempted to CRIMINALIZE efforts to overturn such a measure.

He is against the Civil Rights Act.

The list goes on and on.

Edit: He is a follower of the Austrian school of economics which rejects impirical evidence.

Evolution: So he's a creationist, but that doesn't directly affect his decisions in office.

Church and State: Well what he said in that was flat-out incorrect. So anything he tried to do with that simply wouldn't be allowed to happen.

"War on Christmas": What he said isn't wrong. I'm an atheist (as can be assumed on reddit), and I still realize that most places (malls, walmart, etc) didn't stop hanging "Merry Christmas" signs to be more worldy. They're afraid of being criticized (or even sued) for showing their beliefs. And I don't think his paper is so much a Christianity thing, as a freedom of religion/speech thing.

I mean, this article (Fox news... yeah) can vouch for that. Now, a place has every right to fire you for dressing weird (Like piercing, and short-shorts and such.), so I'm not saying they weren't allowed to to that, but it's safe to assume it was because the pin said "One nation, under God" (which is fine, I just don't want it endorsed by the government) and not simply because it was a pin. My guess is that a customer complained, and Home Depot complied in repressing his speech and/or beliefs.

Global Warming: He's not denying global warming. That has literally been proved. But whether it's natural or caused by human emissions is still up for debate. I don't know enough about the subject to pick sides, though.

The UN: In my opinion, the UN is bad. Global unionization just makes it harder for you to escape the places that the choices you despise aren't affecting. Imagine if every bad decision the US made (EG The Patriot Act) had affected half the world. Now if you disagreed with that choice enough to want to leave, Global Unionization severely limits your leaving.

Gold Standard: I agree with this. Why have currency if you can just print as much as you need, thereby fucking over everybody? The Gold Standard would prevent all inflation.

Gay Marriage; Okay, you got me there...

Civil Rights Act: I don't know what to think about this. I'm pretty sure this is about not forcing places to be accepting of all people, which normal I would agree with (personal freedoms and all), but I know that people are to irresponsible to be accepting of people. I mean, it's a shame that this act even had to exist in the first place. But then again, I wish murder didn't have to be illegal to (as in I wish people where responsible enough to not kill), but we all know that isn't happening, so I guess you got me with this one to. But my point is, I think he was against because he's is maybe radical about personal freedom (feels weird calling that "radical", but there is a limit), and it's not just a racism thing.

God damn that was almost an essay. But what does it matter anyway, I'm too young to vote.

As I've always understood his meme, there is actual problem solving going on. Like taking Sarah McLachlan's animals and feeding them to invisible African children.
