Best advice is to advise people to just hold on through the first 3/4 of season 1 and then the story becomes epic. Just remember to stop at the end of season 5 if you want closure with meaning. Continue if you want to have some more goofy fun.

My personal favorite show ever, I've been with it since about season 3 (when I caught up on all the episodes previous as well). I think it COULD have ended after the season 5 finale, buuuut.... I REALLY like where the show is going now, and I hope that they do at least wrap it up this season, or do just one more. I'll be upset when it's over, but you can't drag it out too far

Well my opinion is that it is one of the most underrated shows to date. It's on the WB, it's showtime was on Friday night (atleast last time I saw) so it's fan base is small but loyal. I'm glad TNT started airing it a while ago or else I wouldn't have found it. It's addicting and awesome.

I trod on my cat's tail today. I was at the sink peeling potatoes and he'd snuck up and flopped behind me and I took a step back to grab something and suddenly

I spent the next minute and a half giving him food and patting him so he'd forget I stomped his tail and remember that I loved him. Actually...

I actually bent my cat's arm backwards once. It flipped around. She screamed. Luckily, I was able to flip it back. It scared the fuck out of me. I feel a tear of fear coming just thinking about it. shudder

Don't worry, my husband once pinched our cat Bear's tail in the door, requiring us to go to the pet ER at 2:30am on the morning I was leaving to go visit friends out of state.

He was trying to shut the door, and unbeknownst to him, Bear's tail was wedged into the area near the hinges, so when my husband shut the door, Bear's tail got pinched in there, and a huge amount of hair got pulled out. We thought it might be broken, so we got him in right away. It turned out it was just pinched, but he had a bunch of broken blood vessels and in some places the tail was actually cut a bit, so we had to give him antibiotics and pain meds for a week or two. My husband still gets really upset whenever he thinks about it.

It wasn't cute at the time, because they told us if it was broken we'd have to amputate Bear's tail, and my husband started sobbing.

In retrospect, now that everything is fine, its adorable.

My cat was in a bitey mood and I usually tell her off but I felt like wrestling with her that day. (No not that wrestling).

She was pretty young (less than a year old) back then, and a few minutes into the play-fight I heard a tooth snap. Totally freaked for a bit, Googled it and turns out they have milk teeth which are supposed to break off. She was almost 8 months IIRC so it was overdue.

This couple was at an outdoor cafe with their new golden retriever puppy. The puppy got everyone's attention from the start. Sometime later, the owner accidentally hurt its paw and the squeals of pain from the poor puppy utterly silenced the entire cafe area as people were like "awwww poor puppy got his paw hurrrrrrrrrt". Of course he got cuddled afterwards. It was a beautiful and adorable experience.
