Don't make bad comics.

A subreddit for creating and sharing rage comics.

Important Links

Ground rules (click for explanation)

  1. Do not downvote or report people simply for quoting the rules.

  2. Don't submit things that aren't rage comics

  3. Reposts are strictly forbidden. If you didn't make it, don't post it. Do not submit a comic again because it did not do well. A second repost will result in a permanent banning. There are no exceptions.

  4. Your comic must be funny. If it's not, it will be removed, even if it has a million upvotes. Whether something is "funny" is judged by the moderators to keep quality high. Try allrages.

  5. Posts complaining about other posts, including ones that have been removed, will be deleted. Sorry dudes, but this is how we're running the show to make sure only quality comics make the front page. If you're not okay with that, allrages is not moderated.

  6. "Comparison comics" are not considered rage comics and are therefore not allowed.

  7. If your comic is a joke you heard from your buddy last night, this isn't the place. Try allrages.

  8. Use the [NSFW] tag generously.

  9. Only moderators are allowed to make self posts.

  10. Popularity doesn't equal relevance, and upvotes aren't a measure of how much your submission belongs in the subreddit

  11. No comics over 10 panels or under 2 panels

  12. Don't mention your cakeday, karma, or upvotes.

  13. No blog posts. Blog posts, also known as Livejournal posts, are preachy, self-serving, and rarely funny. Use text sparingly.

FAQ

Why isn't my comic on the "new" tab?
Give it a second. It was probably caught by the evil robotic spam filter, but we've created an even more powerful robot to save everything from the filter; it just can take a couple minutes. If it still doesn't work, message the moderators with a link to the comment thread of the post to have it approved.

Can I be a moderator, too?
As much as we love when community members want to help out, we can't accept requests for becoming moderators, or we'd be overwhelmed with nothing but such requests. Therefore, requesting to be a moderator will actually result in you getting banned instead. When we feel we need more moderators, we recruit from a list of people we have identified as being helpful and positive role models for the community. If you want to be a mod one day, that's how you'll go about doing it.

How do I get flair?
Asking for flair is not an effective way to get flair, and will likely result in an undesirable blurb of the moderators' choosing being installed for you. This will not be changed by subsequent messages. If you really, really want good flair, find some impressive way to earn it.

It's ok bro, I am not one of them either.

I'm not bilingual, but I feel like everyone should know at least one other language.

But then again, It is believed that English will be spoken by most people by 2050 so its almost unnecessary

I thought it was Chinese/Spanish that was going to take over?

[–]treymour 0 points1 point ago

I saw it on one of those videos telling you random facts about the future.

English is already the most widespread language Globally. Chinese may be spoken by many and is known by many successful americans. But it lacks simplicity. The simplicity of english language is what will make it dominant, No symbols or accents.

Idk, that second blurb was my opinion, But i definitely saw this fact somewhere

Well, pretty much everyone in europe(except UK) is bilingual. I live in Denmark and here it's not uncomon for people to know 3 languages since everybody learns danish + english and german is taught in schools.

No soy bilingüe, es muy cansado. No comprende muchos de Reddit.

Here in the UK I learned French to a decent level in school and also some German (but not enough to have a real fluent conversation).

People are usually already happy when you try. And they get absolutely ecstatic if you actually are a bit fluent...I mean as long as you can order something and be polite that's quite enough*.

*Edit/Addition: It's quite enough but can certainly be improved if you want to.

In Switzerland there are four official languages, you learn the language from the region you are from and one of the other two (rumantsch, sadly, is a dying language). In Spain it's the same deal, Spanish as main language and if you live in one of the 3 autonomous, historical communities (Galicia, Catalonia or the basque country) you also learn the local language in school.

As a Spaniard born and raised in Switzerland I am multilingual...I speak German, French, Italian, Spanish, Galician and English and I also understand a bit of Portuguese (as it is similar to Galician).

Not satisfied with knowing all of these languages I intend to learn Arabic, Russian and either Chinese, Japanese or Korean.

So what I'm trying to say, not all countries have only one official language and knowing a lot of languages is good for job searching...

TL:DR Not all countries have only one official language and knowing a lot of languages is good for job searching.

fordi nesten alle som ikke har engelsk som morsmål, fortsatt kan snakke engelsk ;)
