Shh, don't ruin it for the /r/aww crowd. They don't care if an animal is being mistreated/humiliated/in pain, as long as it's cute it's perfectly all right. They'll just convince themselves that there's nothing wrong and the dog just LOVES sitting in an unnatural position with its tail and genitals squeezed against hard plastic.

If it's cute, don't ruin the fantasy.
