What I think of when I see people whining about dubstep, facebook timeline, and 3D movies... (i.imgur.com)

I really do get frustrated with 3D movies, though! (the other two are fine by me) I think it does kinda goof up the cinematic experience by muting colors and making it as if I am wearing a pair of sunglasses at night. The 3D effect is cool and all, but aside from Avatar, I haven't cared for it much

every time a commercial comes on the television that employs the use of dubstep as the music in the background (Warrior Lacrosse commercials, preview/trailer for "Red Tails," and the new Internet Explorer commercials, among others), my dad starts ranting about how awful it sounds, "oh my GOD, what is this garbage! is this the kind of noise you kids listen to these days?!"

3D movies are terrible. They're like a moving popup book. And they've been going in-and-out of style for ages. I think I read somewhere that the first attempt at 3D was in the 30's or 40's. It keeps going away and coming back, because NOBODY but Hollywood wants them. When are they going to learn that.

What's worse is the much older crowds at Dubstep shows, not that they can't enjoy whatever music they like, but a lot of what makes dubstep shows fun isn't the music and its obvious they don't get that. Sucks that its so difficult to age gracefully and be hip.

These are not those people

a) Yes if you're British dubstep is old there but the party scene for dubstep it just now peaking here, I really can't help our geography.

b) These people have NOT been listening to electronic music for 15 years, in America dubstep and certain electronic dj's (David Guetta/Afrojack/Aoki) have brought electronic music to the forefront of club/party music. The people I'm talking about are drunk 40 somethings that wander into local shows after they get out of Borgore, or the people that I saw at Excision. They come more from the metal or heavy rock crowds and don't contribute to the rave atmosphere because they don't know what that means.
