Great sarcasm, but when you have a small portion of the society accounting for a large majority of the prison population something is fucked up. The fact that the race you were born with is still a large indicator not just of your success in life, but also determinant of your life expectancy is fucked up. You want to know something? A black teen who shoots somebody and goes to jail has a higher life expectancy than a black teen who doesn't. Blacks on average have a higher unemployment rate than whites, constantly. They experience larger swings in unemployment. The point is, black people in this country are fucked not because of their intelligence, but because of where they were born. They are fucked not because they tried to succeed legally, but because the illegal path is easier and more profitable. They are fucked because nobody pays attention. There is racial inequality, but because we have pricks who say to "celebrate diversity" and "look at obama," people turn a blind eye. The celebrate diversity people just look at a black person and say "you should be proud of where you come from," proud of fucking what? The fact that 200-400 years ago random fucking Europeans decided to Christianize Africans, bring them over to another continent, make them work against their will for no compensation, only to have their creations taken from them whenever they arose and made popular not by a black man, but a white man. That anything positive a black person does is seen as "courageous," but positive things that a white person does is seen as normal. Something is fucked up in America, and it isn't the republican-democrat divide, it is the White-Nonwhite divide. And we are all to blame for acting like it isn't a fucking problem.
