When I was a drinker I was rarely home by 2 AM. In fact, I usually didn't get home until about 3 to 5 AM depending on who was at the bar that night. One time we picked up some 12-packs for the road and drove around from last call at 2AM until about 4AM when we found some total strangers to drink with. We hung out with them for a few hours and then headed back to the bar for first call.
