  2. No gore or porn. NSFW content must be tagged.

  3. No personal information. This includes anything hosted on Facebook's servers, as they can be traced to the original account holder. Stalking & harassment will not be tolerated.

  4. No solicitation of votes (including "cake day" posts), posts with their sole purpose being to communicate with another redditor, or [FIXED] posts. DAE posts go in /r/DoesAnybodyElse. "Fixed" posts should be added as a comment to the original image.

I hate seeing shit like this. Cats are conscious of their appearance much like people are. They are incredibly prideful creatures, and do feel embarrassment and shame, but being unable to express themselves with words, unaware people can't pick up on a cats distress signals at being man handled and forced to submit to the stupidity of such people like yourself.

Why do you think they shave inmates heads when they're incarcerated? Its exercising a form psychological control, and trying to impose your dominance on another. It strips your identity and effectively makes you the prisons bitch.

Another thing is, there is a reason for all that dense fur! A cats fur keeps them warm from cold, and also protects them from the heat of the sun. They too can experience sun burns or heat stroke, ESPECIALLY if their protective fur coat has been tampered with! I wouldn't let your cat outside until its grown back.

Actually, the shaving of an inmates head is used as a way to prevent the spread of lice into the prison population. Typically this is only done during the initial processing phases. They are then left to keep there hair how they wish, considering it is within a few regulations, mostly in regards to length.
