Those rotating doors have a fire mechanism that during a fire they close together. It's possible that it was triggered in the building or that they malfunctioned. Therefore closing on this poor man.

If you watch closely, another guy was entering on the other end and he was going the wrong way. I think that by having two people push in two different directions, the panels just buckled and collided together.
