Would be greatly improved by the banning of any player ever touching the ball with their hands, and increasing the goal size by 50%. You get 1 point for a goal within the box, 2 points for a goal outside the box, and 3 points for a goal beyond half way.

Soccer: wasting 90 minutes for nil-all-draws for far too many decades.

How would banning a player for using their hands greatly improve the game?

How well versed on the rules of soccer are you? (not trying to be condescending, just genuinely curious) A handball in the box is grounds for a red card(which means you do get banned), because of the whole idea that you just prevented a scoring opportunity. Any other time there's really no need to ban a player for it unless they were to pick it up and run away with it. It seems that I misunderstood and that M0b1u5 was referring to the use of hands by goalkeepers.

As for the goal/scoring changes, I think soccer is a popular enough sport that they have enough justification to leave it just the way it is.

I think he means to also include the goalkeepers when banning the use of hands. I have to agree that it would make the game a little more interesting to watch, although dynamically different.
