I love this pic but it's unfair to say little dogs suck. I have a little dog and he never barks or yaps, never nips at anyone and is generally found to be snoring away somewhere, unless he wants tummy rubs. He gets along great with other dogs and cats too. It's usually the responsibility of the dog owners to make sure the dogs learn good behavior.

I feel like big dogs don't have as much insecurity as little dogs. Not that there's any way to measure insecurity in an animal, but little dogs always seem like there trying to make up for something, barking at everything, acting all mean, bullying anything smaller than it.

Big dogs are generally the biggest animal of the house, if there's more than one. I feel like they just aren't worried about shit.

I love harlequins :) All of our great danes over the years have been harlequin and to date it's still my favourite coat. Brindles are rather lovely too, though.
