Just saying because it never ceases to make me laugh me that white people would chose Asian aging as a topic of humour when clearly Asians age the most gracefully out of all the ethnic groups.

You are extremely incorrect. Yes, Russia and India are geographically within Asia. But genetically, the people who are from there are not what is generally termed "Asian". In racial terms, Russian and Indians share far, far more in common with Europeans than with East Asians. I'm not sure how you can say ethnic Russians are anything but European.

Modern anthropology uses a fairly complex categorization scheme, but it used to be done in a simple way: the races of the world were divided into 3 groups: Caucasoid, Mongoloid, and Negroid. Mongoloid covered East Asian ethnicities, while Caucasoid covered Europeans, Arabs, Indians, etc.

All of that aside, anyone with half a brain can see that this pic refers to East Asians, not West Asians or South Asians.

Apparently it's extremely complex and but does take into consideration region(probably a fraction of a percent). I know now that the way I said it, based it solely on region, is incorrect. I just think it's awfully confusing for the regular joe to affiliate asian with anything but asia.

The word Jew comes from Judah, but the original name was Hebrews. The use of Judah to refer to Jews comes from after the Exile. That means the race of Jews predates the use of Jew as a name. Therefore, their name doesn't come from geography, but from one of the 12 tribes.
