Where can you find a wild magikarp that's level 100?

[–]Horse_Fetish 37 points38 points ago*

in Diamond and Pearl Platinum only, there's a lake where you can fish and find them at 100

[–]NewWorldOrderftw 18 points19 points ago

How far into the game do you need to be?

[–]Horse_Fetish 19 points20 points ago

It comes after you beat the elite four. I remember it's one of the last areas you can reach.

[–]NewWorldOrderftw 9 points10 points ago

Darn, would have been fun to try to beat the elite four with 6 magikarps

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points ago

Pretty sure you can still challenge the elite four even after you beat them once.

[–]WishboneTheDog 44 points45 points ago

I once beat the elite four 100 times in a row to see if Professor Oak came out to give you a shotgun and/or access to a secret part of the game.

A little part of my childhood died that day.

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points ago

...playground rumour, I take it.

[–]Chachoregard 15 points16 points ago

Never doubt playground rumors.

[–]i_practice_santeria 12 points13 points ago

All the kids these days with their smart phones have the know-how to Google these kinds of things. So then are playground rumors a thing of the past? If so, should we bemoan the loss of mysticism for our children or rejoice for the advancement of knowledge? These are the tough questions.

[–]Awful_Antagonist 3 points4 points ago

FLARETH EXISTS YOU DUMB BITCHES!! DON'T DOUBT ME!

[–]damndirtyape 10 points11 points ago

No matter how hard we tried, we could never move that fuckin truck.

[–]Thrasher1493 5 points6 points ago

You had to summon dragonite while playing the pokeflute and simultaneously pressing a+b. Then and only then, would Dragonite lift the truck and you would find the ticket.

I have no idea what I'm saying. a bit drunk and vaguely remember something about a truck from my childhood.

[–]Hounmlayn 2 points3 points ago

The only land motor vehicle in the game, abandoned on the sand. fuckers, wouls have been awesome if you could drive it.

[–]headphonehalo 7 points8 points ago

to see if Professor Oak came out to give you a shotgun

Yep, that makes perfect sense.

[–]HellaBitchin 2 points3 points ago

How awesome would that game be though.

[–]linok 10 points11 points ago

Red uses 12-gauge

It's super effective

[–]ManicOppressive 0 points1 point ago

"Smell ya later!"

"... No. This will not be."

[–]Beretot 2 points3 points ago

On yellow I've beaten it 137 times just to get all 6 pokémon into level 100.

Dear god, was I patient back then.

[–]playuhh 3 points4 points ago

I tried my ass off to get to level 100 in Duck Hunt so I could kill the dragon that comes out.
Turns out the game just glitches out when you get past level 99.

[–]NewWorldOrderftw 0 points1 point ago

I heard that you can catch Mew on red and blue by using surf just outside the SS Anne, why don't you try that out?

[–]NewWorldOrderftw 0 points1 point ago

But you lose the novelty of doing it the first time with 6 magikarps the first time

[–]Westykins 1 point2 points ago

Well shit, there'd be no way to evolve them o.o

[–]DoctorYuyi 0 points1 point ago

You can catch them anywhere between level 1 to 100. Catch one at Level 99, use a rare candy, profit.

[–]Horse_Fetish 0 points1 point ago

Thanks. it's been a while since I played. It was in platinum so I just assumed it was the same in d&p.

[–][deleted] 303 points304 points ago

[–]UndeadMantis 62 points63 points ago

The way "Cassie" nicknamed their team is so... obnoxious.

[–]rabidllama 61 points62 points ago

Makes it so much more satisfying that they all got wrecked by a Magikarp...

[–]Connador 18 points19 points ago

And how they're all in the 'shiny to be shiny' group.

[–]NfgGenocide 1 point2 points ago

Magikarp God >

[–]DrRabbitt 113 points114 points ago

i've never played pokemon but i bet the guy who got raped my a fish with 1hp left was pissed

[–]pokepat460 132 points133 points ago

To explain it a bit, heres what basically happened:

He starts off with magicarp, pretty much the weakest most badass pokemon, with an item that makes it live through any attack and survive with 1hp once. Since he is so weak, this is pretty gaurunteed to happen.

He then send out smeargle, a pokemon that can learn any move. He cuts his hp to boost his attack up greatly, then uses a move to send out the magicarp again, but with the attack bonus.

Magicarp uses a move that does more damage when you are at lower health. Considering he is at 1hp, it is really strong. Coupled with the attack bonus from smeargle, pretty much nothing could live through it. And so he slaughters 6 of the strongest pokemon in the game.

[–]Zanhana 63 points64 points ago

To be honest, the guy running the Uber team was shamefully unprepared. He should have been running Extremespeed on his Rayquaza. This would have allowed him to switch in Celebi (the weakest member of his team) as death fodder, and then switch in Rayquaza without any danger. The priority boost on Extremespeed would allow Rayquaza to outrun Magikarp, even with the Swift Swim and Salac Berry speed boosts. The hit would have landed a guaranteed KO on Magikarp (100% accuracy), and then the remaining Ubers would proceed to rape the rest of the team.

[–]andrepm 111 points112 points ago

To be honest, the guy naming his entire team variants of "God" doesn't seem like he knows what he's doing.

[–]HyzerFlip 10 points11 points ago

I <3 pokemon but I barely knew what that dude was talking about... And I know what he was talking about.

[–]Mikuro 4 points5 points ago

Of course he was. It's not like this is a strategy exclusive to shitty Pokémon. There are plenty of already-good Pokémon you can use Baton Pass strategies with. This is one of the things you absolutely, positively must have a defense planned for. You just don't let your opponent get that far.

I'm also surprised Magikarp OHKO'd everyone. Kyogre should be able to withstand Flail even with the max attack boost. He must've had no stat experience allocated to defense. Sucks to be him!

[–]Zanhana 3 points4 points ago*

Since it was a CM Kyogre, I'm guessing the owner probably put the bulk of the EVs into SAtk and SDef (probably 252 each with the remaining 4 into HP).

[–]Mikuro 2 points3 points ago

Probably a bad idea, though. As far as defense goes, it's usually better to cover your weaknesses than to play to your strengths. After all, once you start using Calm Mind, you know your opponent will focus on physical attacks. It just makes you unbalanced.

Similarly, you never want to focus on Blissey's SD, and you always want to max out its defense, because it's the more realistic threat.

I guess all it comes down to is, the guy who was swept by a Magikarp wasn't using the best strategies. News at 11.

[–]Zanhana 0 points1 point ago

I agree - I always felt like a CM Kyogre was the worst variant of the Blue Beast. The team I built and went world-ranked with actually ran a lead Choice Scarf Kyogre with max SAtk and Speed EV. Every now and again I'd encounter an opponent who would never expect a lead Scarf Kyogre that I'd 6-0 with Water Spout right out the gate. It was glorious.

Anyway I'm off to class, but definitely PM me if you want to talk Pokémon!

[–]nitefang 14 points15 points ago

I thought Smeagle did something to increase speed and passed that over to magicarp, the increased speed plus a move that gets stronger the lower your HP is = win.

[–]wslaxmiddy 18 points19 points ago*

It was both, the first move Smeagle used increased att, and then because it had 25% hp left, used its Salac Berry to increase speed. Magikarp got both of these bonuses and becomes somewhat useful even more badass than it was to begin with.

[–]Unique_Identifier 21 points22 points ago

Not to mention the fact that it was raining thanks to Kyogre.

[–]Xujhan 1 point2 points ago

He did both. The Belly Drum trades half your HP for x4 attack power, and the Salac berry that activated gives a 50% speed boost.

[–]Brutalitor 12 points13 points ago*

Not to mention rain dance doubled his speed so he would always attack first. Unless this isn't actually a rule and I dreamed it up in a drunken stupor.

*Edit: Dreamed? Dreamt? Fuck it, who cares.

[–]repsilat 15 points16 points ago

Both "dreamed" and "dreamt" are ok, but you should always use "dreamt" because you don't often get to say words ending with "-mt".

[–]ShouniAishaKuma 1 point2 points ago

It's not always, as priority moves still go first. Sucker punch, quick attack, mach punch, extremespeed always go first, unless Magikarp could learn one of those too. Which it doesn't, currently, but if it did...

[–]srs_business 0 points1 point ago

Magikarp has Swift Swim which doubles speed in rain, so yeah.

[–]DSSCRA 10 points11 points ago

The maker of the video also has a bit more detailed of a description (it also explains the rest of the team.

For some of the people who don't know enough about Pokemon to realize how this was done:

1) Smeargle's Baton Pass attack switchs Pokemon while keeping the stat changes. For instance, any attack or speed raises Smeargle got Magikarp now inherited.

2) In the beginning, I let him hit me so that my Focus Sash could kick in, leaving me at 1 HP. Flail is an attack that does more damage depending on the HP of the attacker. When Magikarp has 1 HP, Flail has a base power of 200, almost as much as Explosion!

3) Belly Drum quadruples the attack of a Pokemon at the cost of half your life. Combined with Substitute, Smeargle is left with 25% of his life and therefore activiates his Salac Berry, which provides a 50% boost to speed.

4) When Smeargle Baton Passes into Magikarp, all of his stat changes are inherited by Magikarp. That brings our friend Magikarp to 388 speed and 520 attack! If that were not enough, Magikarp's ability, Swift Swim, makes his speed double in the rain to an even better 777!

5) The end result is an incredibly fast and strong Pokemon who can spam attacks nearly as powerful as Explosion against my opponent. Hence, the Magikarp sweep. Plus, there is nothing more embarrassing to losing to the long-time considered weakest Pokemon in the game, right?

Some other notes:

Yes, I am aware about the many ways to stop this sweep. To name them, any Pokemon with Focus Sash, a switch-in harm move like Spikes or Stealth Rock, a Ghost/Steel/Rock type, a priority move, or a Pokemon with Sand Stream/Snow Warning. The rest of my team was devoted to stopping these conditions. I had two Pokemon with Stealth Rocks (to stop Sashes), two Pokemon with Rain Dance (to stop Sandstorm or Hail and to give Magikarp Swift Swim), and two Pokemon with Rapid Spin to stop Spikes or Stealth Rocks. Still, it took me about 50 attempts of me asking for an Uber match until I got someone who it worked against. This one just ended up perfectly, he had nothing to counter Magikarp.

[–]DrRabbitt 4 points5 points ago

interesting... thanks for the explanation... i've never liked playing turn based rpg's but some people love them

[–]Grinning_Caterpillar 42 points43 points ago

That ending, so cringe worthy.

[–]CitizenPremier 34 points35 points ago

I don't know why I watched that... I've never even played pokemon

[–]pontiusjudas 6 points7 points ago

I was thinking the same thing...Maybe I should.

[–]Zanhana 24 points25 points ago

I achieved an international ranking in competitive Pokémon...I was a full-blown addict during my senior year of high school. To get anywhere you'd have to do an absurd amount of reading and research, but if you're willing to put in the time, there's nothing else like it. It's like chess on steroids.

My non-Pokéfan friends always call bullshit when I tell them that. This is what I respond with.

In chess, you and your opponent start with the same pieces every game, and those pieces always have the same moves and power levels. More importantly, you know what your opponent has to use.

In Pokémon, you and your opponent each have six out of 400+ (I achieved my ranking before 5th gen came out) possible "pieces", and those "pieces" can have different stats (since you can specifically boost some EVs, basically power levels for different attributes), different natures (further altering the EVs), different move sets, and different items. If you thought thinking three steps ahead in chess was hard, try it with Pokémon.

tl;dr: If you have the time and energy to invest, get into competitive Pokémon. There is no other strategic rush like it.

[–]zeroes0 6 points7 points ago

Magic the Gathering would like to have a talk with you...

[–]Kmartrules 8 points9 points ago

No other strategic rush? Come on don't forget starcraft..

[–]PoeticEnd 10 points11 points ago

Oorrrrr, just play it for fun, go through the single player game (with multiplayer trading) and enjoy some online/wifi battles without getting all serious about it.

[–]Zanhana 10 points11 points ago

Oh there's definitely nothing wrong with that, it just sounded like pontiusjudas was specifically referring to competitive battling, given the content of the video and I thought I'd chime in with my experiences.

Actually, one of the main reasons I quit competitive play at the peak of my run was because I was sick of being a Gary Oak - only using the Pokémon that I knew I could win with, even if they weren't my favorites.

[–]PoeticEnd 2 points3 points ago

Don't get me wrong, there's nothing wrong with competitive play, if that's what you're into it's great for that as well. I just wanted to make it clear that's not what it's all about, it can scare some people off of a really fun game franchise.

It's them little digital monsters right? All theys names end in '-mon' and shit, rights?

[–]Rose375 1 point2 points ago

Yeah, yeah, and there's a little yellow one, and its name is Pikachoo or something? And it's like BFFs with this little boy. I think he's a Pikachoo too. Or maybe a Pokemon? Those words are probably interchangeable.

[–]Despotic 0 points1 point ago

Someday, the majority of the population will know what Pokemon is. This is exactly what makes Earth awesome.

[–]ShouniAishaKuma 0 points1 point ago

As a UU tier main who has beaten über tiered teams at VGC Seattle with my favorites, I can safely say that you can still always win with your favorites. I think I ran Shiftry Sunny Day sweeper. Can't remember if I swapped that out for a double powder Tangrowth or not.

[–]verdatum 0 points1 point ago

How about getting into a fight with your girlfriend just for the sake of makeup sex?

[–]Connador 0 points1 point ago

It is fun, and by no means do you have to play it competitively. There are regular battles (the game does not have to be incredibly strategic), or you can just have fun collecting them.

[–]Servios 0 points1 point ago

If you're not in grade/high school, I wouldn't. It will eat your time alive.

On that note, though, if you have nothing better to do...it is a damn fun game.

[–]s4r9am 2 points3 points ago

Came here for this. Wasn't disappointed.

[–]lycao 2 points3 points ago

That made me genuinely think about EV training a magikarp to put on my team.

I'm pretty sure hell just froze over.

[–]IamTheEddy 4 points5 points ago

I live in Mexico...I am thankful to have tacos at every corner in the streets.

team rocket has them ! And that must be their plan to take over the world, with mofo MAGIKARPS!!!

[–]pKreate 0 points1 point ago

Whenever there's a post with a Magikarp, this video comes up. And i watch it every time. And Love it.

[–]BruinBlunts 60 points61 points ago

[–]Zoccihedron 11 points12 points ago

In an episode in the first season of the anime where the characters are on a ship (I want to say it was called the S.S. Anne but do not quote me), didn't James buy a magikarp?

[–]Naninaninani 24 points25 points ago

He totally did. He tried to eat it, too.

[–]Thorvalde 5 points6 points ago

No he didn't he was thinking about it but it was meowth which tried to eat it magikarp broke its teeth then James kicked it to water and it evolved.

[–]seperated_at_life 5 points6 points ago

I laughed. Then immediately felt bad.

[–]malius89 4 points5 points ago

yeah, and because he treated it so horribly, when it evolved after the ship sunk, it went wild and hunted team rocket. laughs were had.

[–]bastian1343 8 points9 points ago

[–]ZidaneFTW 2 points3 points ago

[–]AgentDaedalus 24 points25 points ago

[–]Aejaxe 11 points12 points ago

[–]schenker 0 points1 point ago

Alternatively, you could read it like an Old Spice commercial with Terry Crews.

[–]gunn003 19 points20 points ago

I need to go to confession. I have said far too many bad things about this clearly wonderful Pokemon.

[–]prmaster23 13 points14 points ago

I saw the new list of Pokemon. There was an ice cream cone Pokemon and a chandelier Pokemon. cringe

[–]Mage_tank 10 points11 points ago*

The chandelier pokemon is actually pretty awesome.

It's a ghost type, which I think makes it's appearance make sense. Poltergeists, possessing objects, etc. Reminds me of the Beauty and the Beast world in KH2. The boss fight, I mean.

The ice cream cone is just sad, though. When you think about it, we all loved Voltorb, though. And that wasn't so different.

[–]Replekia 1 point2 points ago

Maybe I'm missing it, but how is liking voltorb who looks like a pokeball not that different from liking a pokemon that looks like a food product? I mean really, what kind of defense mechanism is that?

[–]Mage_tank 0 points1 point ago

What kind of a defense mechanism is looking like a pokeball? People try to pick voltorb up all the time.

I thought the issue was pokemon that look like man made objects, because he was complaining about a chandelier, too.

[–]Replekia 0 points1 point ago

Pfft voltorb was badass. Looking like a pokeball is totally a hunting mechanism for him. Human tries to pick you up? Electrocute and consume!

Personally I had interpretted the issue not with them being man-made objects but rather that they seemed unoriginal/out-of-place. Though I can see your point with them being 'man-made'

[–]ShouniAishaKuma 0 points1 point ago

Vanilluxe is useless :/

Chandelure, however, is quite strong. Ghost Fire with an outstanding move pool, base Sp Atk and base Speed. I've placed a willow wisp / spite Chandelure on my OU team before. It's quite strong.

[–]Mage_tank 0 points1 point ago

I like Cryonogal. Great pokemon, but it's a bitch to get. I was in that cave, right? The very first pokemon I see is cryonogal. But I'm overleveled and kill it. Didn't.know it was so rare until I never saw it again. I had to use the repel trick to find it, and even then, I had to kill a billion boldores before it popped up.

[–]ooo_shiny 1 point2 points ago

Why is everyone always picking on the awesome chandelier Pokemon - it is a great pokemon and is more original than quite a few of the original 151.

[–]Aejaxe 1 point2 points ago

... the fuck?

[–]i_practice_santeria 31 points32 points ago

Original 151 or GTFO, that's what I say.

[–]WishboneTheDog 21 points22 points ago*

You forget that you go past 151 in the first episode.

[–]kilo4fun 18 points19 points ago

Wait are we still talking about Pokemon or Sesame Street?

[–]WishboneTheDog 0 points1 point ago

How could you when Ash was so dumbfounded in the very first episode?

You immediately got a sense of what a legendary Pokemon was from that very appearance, and the reference afterwords when he sees the picture on the wall. The show talks about how there is Pokemon that no one knows about. It made you dream of the world beyond the game, where new exciting Pokemon were waiting to be discovered.

Although I admit that I did enjoy that it was a mystery.

[–]PPpwnz 1 point2 points ago

Eh, the Gold and Silver generation wasn't too bad.

[–]Sir_Walken 0 points1 point ago

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

[–]arrjayjee 7 points8 points ago

Arceus? Look it up.

[–]Turnip_Blaster 4 points5 points ago

Word. Everybody knows that Mew is the strongest Pokemon.

[–]wadetype 1 point2 points ago

Is it pronounced Arse-é-us?

[–]neren 1 point2 points ago

From Bulbapedia:

Arceus's English name has had three different pronunciations. Before it was officially revealed, fans pronounced it as "AR-see-uss", as does Pokémon Battle Revolution. Then, a promotional trailer for Arceus and the Jewel of Life pronounced it as "Ar-SAY-us". Its official pronunciation was then revealed in a Pokémon.com mailbag as "ARK-ee-us". Its original pronunciation is still in popular usage.

They are great for breeding. Each magikarp lays a thousand eggs at a time. A thousand times a thousand is a million. A thousand times a million is a billion. You can buy a magikarp now for $100 and in 3 generations makes billions and billions of dollars! (Wow, I would be easily tricked.)

[–]Aromir19 0 points1 point ago

No you don't. Magikarp are only good if you really know what you're doing.

[–]iKill_eu 1 point2 points ago

Are you saying I'm not well informed on pokemon?

[–]Aromir19 0 points1 point ago

I'm just saying that you're not well informed on magikarp. Planets have to align for it to be useful in a battle.

[–]iKill_eu 1 point2 points ago

Pffft, all I have to do is give it a pair of choice specs and some steroids.

[–]Daniel022 14 points15 points ago

I miss the days of 151 Pokemon. Or even ~250 Pokemon. Can't keep up anymore.

[–]Zoccihedron 15 points16 points ago

~250 Pokemone

You're either with the 151 or you are against the 151.

[–]WishboneTheDog 25 points26 points ago*

Pshhh, you go past 151 in the first episode.

Edit: For those who don't know, that is the legendary pokemon Ho-Oh, pokemon officially number 250. He appears in the ending of the very first episode of the show. I first thought it was a legendary bird of the first generation, but after careful comparison, and some exercising the rewind button of my VCR, I confirmed that it was none of the 3. I thought it would forever be a mystery until Ho Oh was revealed as the final Pokemon in the second generation.

Thinking back now though, I enjoyed that it was a mystery.

[–]oddvr 2 points3 points ago

final Pokemon in the second generation.

Celebi would like a word with you.

[–]RaginReaganomics 9 points10 points ago

Most of the original 250 were designed by the original pokedesigner. In fact, the first games (rbg) were originally set to include 180 pokemon but they cut out 30. There's still game data for the other 30 which is why the missingno & mew glitches work.

Personally, I think 250 was solid. Dark and steel added so much, and GSC were IMO the best games due to the length and depth. I'm going to go cry for the loss of my childhood now

[–]Forever_aClone 2 points3 points ago

i'm more a fan of Gen III, dem running shoes

[–]Kmartrules 5 points6 points ago

Since when can Magikarp use anything other than Splash?

[–]haunchu 1 point2 points ago

I can't really take this seriously.

[–]StyleAndEase 1 point2 points ago

My mother AND Charizard?? That is one magnificent beast.

[–]davidzlocker3 1 point2 points ago

Anyone else read this with the "power thirst" voice?

[–]JonesBee 1 point2 points ago

I haven't played pokemon since red/blue. I just bought a DS and started playing pokemon black. I have no idea about any of these fuckers, I just pick my pokemon at random, probably the worst ones every time.

[–]FoolFighter 2 points3 points ago

Please make a video like this one!!!! (about magikarp of course!)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Qe9O90cD80

[–]HandsomeBWonderfull 13 points14 points ago

Please don't

[–]andy__t 0 points1 point ago

I always felt Dragonite was the strongest.

[–]NOONE294 4 points5 points ago

Lol, the ending to that is hillarious!

[–]akarp1 -1 points0 points ago

Thanks for the tribute, my people thank you!

[–]gfox95 0 points1 point ago

I read that in the Epic Meal Time guy's voice.

[–]HMNiD 0 points1 point ago

Just starting Pokemon Blue again... This was inspiration to my true quest

[–]Dr_Popadopolus 0 points1 point ago

The main issue with Gyrados was that his special attack was soooooo low, if you gave that motherfucker surf you were wasting an attack slot. Hell hyperbeam is simply a terrible move. It's better to give him crunch, chance to flinch and dark, and some other moves.

[–]iComment_Too_Much 0 points1 point ago

I've never really played Pokemon but this made me laugh. I vaguely remember playing emerald, but that's it...

[–]Ares1221 0 points1 point ago

the first shiny i ever encountered was a magikarp. good times.

[–]TRAUMAjunkie 0 points1 point ago

D id anyone else read this entire thing in the ranger school voice?

[–]DocJRoberts 0 points1 point ago

not gonna lie I read this whole thing Powerthirst style >.<

[–]Madmax654 0 points1 point ago

This is awesome

[–]stonedchao 0 points1 point ago

most yell at you ads are pretty funny. this isn't. and i love magikarp.

[–]syuk 0 points1 point ago

Magikarp, the Fish Pokémon. Magikarp can live in the dirtiest of water.

[–]SANAFABICH 0 points1 point ago

That was hilarious. Specially that last frame!

[–]AeliSupernova 0 points1 point ago

Nice try, Magikarp salesman.

[–]phugg 0 points1 point ago

I haven't laughed so hard in a while. Thank you reddit

[–]WollyGog 0 points1 point ago

you're right, gyarados is shite. a wannabe dragon type, that when faced up against any electric type (which is more than likely faster and thus first in speed priority), takes a 4x STAB hit. if that ent a OHKO i don't know what is! magikarp, you rule! time to jump back on the DS and EV train!

god i'm 26, with a great job and in a long term relationship. and i know pokemon terms still. :O FTW.

When true memes make it to reddit

[–]Tranchera 0 points1 point ago

Sometimes this ANGRY ADVERTISING thing is funny.

But more often than not it falls on its flops. Like. A Magikarp.

[–]sudzy101 0 points1 point ago

i can just picture Billy Mays saying this in one of his commercials.

[–]CloneDeath 0 points1 point ago

There are a lot of flaws with your logic.

[–]JamboMrT 0 points1 point ago

Arceus?? This makes me sad :( Its all about Mew

[–]Saignement 0 points1 point ago

I read this entire thing in the voice of Sterling Archer... No clue why, but it was excellent. Just saying.

[–]PanicProne 0 points1 point ago

I know absolutely nothing about Pokemon (was never interested in the games or the series), but it was worth it for "your anal-devastated self".

[–]themightymagikarp 0 points1 point ago

One day.... I shall rule the world!

[–]SenTedStevens 0 points1 point ago

That's great and all, but how does it taste?

[–]mybreathyourlung 0 points1 point ago

What the fuck does this mean.

[–]smilingarmpits 0 points1 point ago

Ahhh, extreme advertising. I loved it. Still do!

all time fav

While we're at it, does someone have the Obama one? It said something along the lines of "look at those ears, it's like a motherfucking elephant president or some shit like that I don't know".

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

"Solid gold motherfucker: ever word in that title is literal." was actually really funny haha. Good show.

[–]kirinroxs 0 points1 point ago

For some reason I read this In the voice from that guy in epic meal time.

[–]dontmutemeplz 0 points1 point ago

Jellicent gg.

[–]4realthistime 0 points1 point ago

lol gyarodos, first dragon you face in the elite 4 if thunder doesn't hit, reset

[–]BigMoneyBecker 0 points1 point ago

my gut actually made a sound while i was reading FLAIL... stopped, re-read, looked at my gut, back to the screen, questioned life, and kept on reading

[–]TheGreatL 0 points1 point ago

Magikarp only had one move when I played pokemon

[–]Lord_Fluffykins 0 points1 point ago

If I could get into the business of fabricating mounted Magikarps for Pokémon fans' living rooms and selling them on etsy, I would be rich.

[–]OverlordMagikarp 0 points1 point ago

I agree with this

[–]JazzyGerman 0 points1 point ago

This just made my day :D

[–]KokoaKuroba 0 points1 point ago

repost from r/pokemon

[–]Madzoox 0 points1 point ago

Why can't I have one as my starting Pokemon!

[–]azianpete 0 points1 point ago

Magikarp makes my metapod harden

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point ago

I know this isn't going to be heard, but...
