Reposted to spread this magnificence!
Why God Never Received a PhD
He had only one major publication.
It was in Hebrew.
It had no references.
It wasn’t published in a refereed journal.
Some even doubt he wrote it by himself.
It may be true that he created the world, but what has he done since then?
His cooperative efforts have been quite limited.
The scientific community has had a hard time replicating his results.
He never applied to the ethics board for permission to use human subjects.
When one experiment went awry he tried to cover it by drowning his subjects.
When subjects didn’t behave as predicted, he deleted them from the sample.
He rarely came to class, just told students to read the book.
Some say he had his son teach the class.
He expelled his first two students for learning.
Although there were only 10 requirements, most students failed his tests.
His office hours were infrequent and usually held on a mountain top.
No record of working well with colleagues.

You'll want to direct that to the OP, who I assume photographed this at his or her university.

I got this chain email as well. I suppose a picture of an email printed out and on a wall amounts to more link karma.

Why God never received his PhD- He didnt exist.
[–]marklarnomnomnom 3 points4 points5 points 5 months ago
Of course, by Christian logic, God created man who created the PhD so anyone who receives a PhD did it because God willed it. So one could say that God has received every PhD ever awarded, but that would be wrong because Christian logic is an oxymoron.

Exactly, that's why logic is for us to play with and have a laugh among each other. On special days we'll attempt a rational conversation with a christian, just to be reminded why we vent on Reddit. You can't just unplug someone and make them understand. They have to take the first step towards greater awareness, popping that pill if you will.

I lost it at "his office hours are infrequent". Terrible professor!

As a BS Chemist who has listened to countless PhD's recount their grad school tales,
I approve.

This should be "Why God didn't receive tenure"

Number 10 just makes me constant lol

Actually the majority of the new testament was written in Greek.
And don't forget he'd never actually show up to office hours but merely phoned in when he had something say (or used a burning bush).

OK, I'm disappointed. I thought this was something limited to my local FB / college.
all it takes is a username and password
create account
is it really that easy? only one way to find out...
already have an account and just want to login?
