While some claim this scenario is fake (and I don't care if it is), it's an almost blow-by-blow of some people i've seen while playing M:TG.

I used to be an avid player and, consequently, I have seen many rage reactions, including:

• Single-Table-Flip (like video).

• Long-table-flip ...2 other games besides the rage-quit's got tossed... that's 6 decks with sideboards and dice and life counters and tokens = approx 500 cards + Accessories tossed

• Various exclamations and gesticulations: "COME ON!!!, WHAT THE FUCK?!?!. WTF. NOo-hoo-hooo(yes, with the H sound on the sob). You gotta be kidding me. REALLY? WHY WOULD YOU RUN THAT (in response to an unusual choice of card I played that wasn't "tier 1" according to most... but it was chosen to beat his deck which was in common use, and it did... 3 times in 1 tourney.) You fucking XXXX (fill in your insult of choice). Scoop (this is a reference to quitting/forfeiting, i.e. "scooping" up your card in response to a card or play)."

• Physical violence. I've seen more than one fight over a game with no cheating going on.

• I've seen people throw their own decks across a room. (dangerous projectile about the mass of a baseball with pointy corners due to box).

The exact situation portrayed in the video is INSANELY realistic. Guy with upper hand is trying to go through the entire opponent's deck during the first or second game of a best 2 outta 3. This will let him know how to use his "sideboard" cards most effectively (after the first game of a round, players may use up to 15 cards that they had previously set aside as a kind of "bench" of cards that might be useful, and swap them 1:1 for cards in their deck as they see fit). The losing player would have been better off just "scooping" the minute he was in an outright impossible position, and moving on to the next game while giving his opponent as little info as possible. The "winning" player in the video was also correct in immediately snapping his hand up to call for a judge. He had expertly angered his opponent, used calming words to get him to stay in the game, then obeyed every rule by the strictest line in calling for judge when the opponent threatened to table-flip.
