And it reminds me of one of the episodes where they were playing with aerogel and accidentally crushed a block by squeezing it. I can't find a video, but they said something along the lines of it costing $1000 per square inch or something.

Very true. I know my family has a history of lacking the ability to absorb certain B-vitaments so much of my family gets fairly frequent B-vitamin injections. I don't know too much more about it though.

This is the saddest gif I've ever seen.

Had a friend who swore that if I looked close enough at the 9/11 footage, I could see the explosion started from inside the WTC. Challenge accepted. Watched the footage online, got myself a good, close look and saw... a goddamn airplane. Hitting a goddamn skyscraper. And when I squinted my eyes, I saw another goddamn airplane.

Now I'm no big city engineer or nothin', but...

Yeah you don't just go "oh well, back to you dave!" after ruining somebodies hard work like that. I think it's fake, or that guy deserves to be hunted down and forced to watch only the first half of every episode of Firefly, and never be allowed to finish them.

It was demolished by stringing a wire through the bottom of it which was hidden out of view of the camera that was filming the event. When 'interviewer' Mike Roy stepped around it with his microphone cord the wire was pulled to make it collapse.

Yeah but when was the last time a mic needed to be plugged in? Even crappy cameras from the passed almost 20 years either have the built in mics or mics that don't need a long chord like that.

Well I think of it like somebody set out to build it. Did so than said "fuck it lets knock this down in a funny way". Otherwise there is no reason why they are doing the interview right there or that close to it and, the guys reaction seems so fake.

This was a comment on digg. I know its not actual proof but proof enough for me.
