Seriously. I get that there was the initial post and the "Truth" post, but the second "Truth" post was completely unnecessary, as was the "probably the same person" post.

There was no reason those had to be separate submissions. Make them comments. When I wake up in the morning I don't want five of the top submissions on r/gaming to be some karmawhoring bullshit. I want funny pictures of games, nostalgia and occasionally some news.

  • Guy A receives a letter from someone who stole a pokemon card many years ago, takes a picture of it and posts it to 4chan.

  • Guy B then takes the 4chan picture and posts it on reddit pretending to be Guy A.

  • Guy A finds out, freaks out and posts more pics as proof of this fraud.

  • Guy C then does some science and speculates that Guy A and Guy B may be the same person. Why? Who knows.

  • Guy D then posts a picture featuring spider-man announcing how little he cares for the current situation.

And then we found ourselves here.

Son, this is the essence of games. WOW. someone made something up and put it on Reddit and Reddit believed it, Such big news. Like 50% of reddit is not made up for karma.

next time i go out im going to take a sticky pad and draw pictures of the reddit alien and talk about bacon and how cool stuff was 10 years ago and how its gone to shit how. stick it someone you would never think of seeing it, take a picture and post it on reddit saying look what i found in a place you would never think of finding it.

then im going to get my girlfriends phone change its name on my phone and text random funny stuff then screen cap it and post it up for more karma. WAIT, i cannot do that because I DONT HAVE A FUCKING GIRLFRIEND which is the reason im on reddit right now instead of fingering her :-)

but i can make a meme of this and put it on reddit for more karma and at the end of the week i will look at my karma and feel good.
