This one panel comic is funny because it examines the existential questions faced by cows. Oftentimes, cows are afraid to identify themselves as what they really are, and being a cow is very shameful among cows. The two cows in this comic are conversing about mad cow disease in a way that strips any of their own vulnerabilities towards it away. One of the cows in this comic even believes herself to be a helicopter, which she is clearly not. You can tell that she is not a helicopter by the absence of any propellers, windows, or a solid chassis.
